Team v Brisbane.

the club could have a million bucks on Lions by over 100

and buy Collingwood?

people dont seem to be getting that Mansell

1. hasn't been beaten by his opponent his entire AFL career, and

2. has released bakes.

why, oh why, must we got through this slow process of realisation with every new critically important player?
Some still don't get Broads importance to the side so it might take a while longer.

I don't see any reason why Jack needs a rest.

There's nothing to suggest he's playing injured or tired. Has he or the club said anything? He's a hardened, seasoned professional who knows how to deal with short breaks and has the utmost care and diligence in his preparation. And he has a bye coming up.

We'd be infinitely worse off with him out of the side. Why rest him?
He doesnt he's going alright no issues with him at all.

His mate is the one who needs to lift

Broad goes with Rafael Hipwood. It was a mistake leaving him out of the final last year. Also Andrews killed us in that game but Lynch wasn't there and Chol was impersonating and lamp pole.

Broad, Danny, George, lynchy, Marlion.......

after taking 5 years for Kmac's role to be collectively understood.

sometimes youde swear we'd won 3 of the last 4 spoons

Yep when he gets up the ground Nathan will run with him when he pushes deep if Joe is in the ruck then Noah will pick him up.

id forgotten broad fell out of favour last year.

WTF was that all about?

Did I hear Dimma correctly at the end of his press conference today

say no-one back this week but expecting FOUR back next week?

FOUR? was I hearing things?

Cotchy, Dion, Sheds and $hai?

I'd give Mansell another game and put him on that Banfield to shut down on him.

I have a feeling CCj will play next week against the Crows and we will go with Nank alone for this game in greasey conditions.

Caddy for Hugo might also be a possibility

ccj could come in as a backup ruck and we could only use one of nank and ccj on the field at any given time

I know he's not a power forward but Erica Hipwood has 11cm on Broad. That worries me. Even Daniher at 201cm is a tough ask but Balta has a leap. With 2 x 200+cm forwards, it's going to be more important than ever that we ensure dirty ball forward and we have Vlastuin freed up for the intercept. The good news is the dew is setting in up here so that's going to make overhead marking more difficult, let alone under presssure
Broad has a very good record on Hipwood.

Would we be worse off if Jack is rested? Yes we'd miss his leadership but until an alternative is tried we won't really know. We might well be better off.
As I said his form has tapered & his impact (whilst fantastic on occasions) is lessening.

There are players in form who are banging the door down & need opportunities.
Jack won't be around forever. We need to bring players through..
He was responsible for creating our last 6 goals on Saturday.

We'd never score without him.

Yep he said 4. Sounds like Shed is a chance and maybe Bolton. Not sure I would be rushing Prestia back with a flimsy calf and no way Cotch only misses 2 games with a hammy.

Suspect Caddy will come into calculations once we hit winter and the games slow down a bit more. Dont expect to see him before then.

Cotch will have missed 3 games, and it will have been a month since he did his hammy, sounds plausible he's an in given it wasn't a major tear. Reckon Prestia is close too, I suspect they'd like the game time into him before the bye when they can freshen him up again. Sheds and Bolton the other two, I guess.

True - this will be 3rd game missed. Yes 4 weeks would seem like a good rest for a minor hammy but Cotch has a history of these string injuries. I'd be giving him an extra week. I'd hate to be going all in against the Crows at the G only for him to fall over again
