my understanding is that he had surgery on both calves and while playing there is no risk of re injuring or a reoccurance of the injury. if its just a matter of getting klms in the legs to get him back to his 2009 form then imo the coaching staff got it right

Conditioning him via Richmond instead of Coburg opens him up to all sorts of criticism. Whilst I'm opposed to scapegoating individual players, we're seven weeks in so his performances are fair game when he pulls on the jumper IMO.

Re: Tambling [Merged]

Mediocre Excuseable game from Tambling coming back from the hammy and still recovering from the syndrome thing.

Re: Tambling [Merged]

mmm...another average game..injury or no injury..he needs to go to the two,s and earn a spot in the seniors...
we have so many small players as it is,,nason,,edwards and nahas..who are all having much more impact on games than tambling who is having next to no impact...i want to see him at coburg until he either recovers from this injury and finds consitent form....damn 6 years later we are still having this debate, that alone speaks volumes doesnt it??..

Re: Tambling [Merged]

why doesn't hardwick get him in the backline for extended periods. clearly played better when moved there. first half was deplorable

If he's got a chronic illness then it's goodbye. We can't continue carrying players like this anymore.

Re: Tambling [Merged]

CS is not a chronic illness. it does however take a bit of time to get the legs back to 'normal' so to speak.

It can be chronic depending on which one he has.

he is heads and shoulders above anyone playing in the reserves even with a chronic illness if he has one - do you really want to make the team worse?

Re: Tambling [Merged]

He is one of many problems in that team. That turnover he caused in the last quarter which cost us a goal was deplorable.

MUSY BE CULLED AT YEARS END!!

AND MY PATIENCE IS FAST BECOMING TESTED WITH THESE PERFORMANCES.

Re: Tambling [Merged]

you can't blame fitness issues for panick decisions. it will take a brave selector to keep him in 2011.

Connors and some kids would be more worthwhile than him. Unfortunately, he's come across as a liability and hasn't shown any positive play during games. Nahas was consistently tackling, running, roving and kicking to goal which is what Tambling should've been doing by now.

6 years is long enough. If he stays in because of limitations in players, then so be it, but if he doesn't improve by season end, then it's goodbye.

As much as i hate saying this, what is Tambling giving at the moment that King wouldn't?? The fact that i would have King in the team before Tambling shows just how pathetic he is. If they don't look at a trade with GC for a nice pick then we are stuffed. Has never turned a game on its head after being at the club for 5+ years!!! Says it all.

Re: Tambling [Merged]

CS may not be chronic, lack of desire is. I have run out of patience waiting for him to come good. Just doesn't have it in him to improve. 100 games and counting.......

Re: Tambling [Merged]

Richard finally lost me today  couldn't care if he staryed or was traded

Re: Tambling [Merged]

Tambling lost me at about game 5, standing around the backs of backs of packs with his hands on his hips. Not much has changed.
