Nason has shown more in three games than RT has in 100. Im sure somebody will mention his run of decent games from last year, but i refuse to believe that he can do that on a consistant basis. Happy to be proven wrong, but I just dont see it happening.

Just doesnt want it enough.

Nason, really...he has the benefit of being picked in the 70s. Getting about 14 possessions a game, has butchered every set shot at goal and a lot of field kicks and pretty small for a bloke in his 20s.

He has done OK but some perspective please.

Obnoxious much?

The only obnoxious one I can see is you. I named 4 positive aspects of Tambling's abilities and you pickout the negative. How about perspective for once? We could go through every player in the league and every single one of them will have weaknesses and strengths. Surely Tambling is not such a perfect player that you have to admonish anyone for saying ANYTHING negative about him. Give it a rest, we know your view.

Reasonable post lambsfry.

Re: Tambling [Merged]

I think it may have been Round 4 (2008) when Tambling produced a solid game in the West. This was off the back from a poor start, similar to this year.
I have a feeling tomorrow's clash might be Tambling's first good game for the season. Lets hope so.

But for the moment, can we stop refreshing ourselves with the 10 or so good games he played in 2009. It's starting to sound like Phil Carmen in 1977.

Spot on!

If only our players whose job it is to kick goals could actually do so when it counts we'd be a lot better off. Nason is definitely not Robinson Crusoe in this regard. Riewoldt, Morton and Post were below par at crucial times against the Swans. What a difference a couple of early goals would have made to overall team confidence.

I didn't admonish anyone. I simply stated I thought some of his performances last year demonstrated that he has talent in an area you think he has none in. If that's so tiring that you feel the need to tell me to give up and give it a rest after one post, I guess I'm missing the point of coming on here to discuss the footy.

Forget about PRE's opinion habib, they know nothing. If he puts in one of those half hearted, MIA type games he will need to be dropped. With Polo, Cousins, Roberts, McGuane & maybe Newman coming back next week, he cannot afford to be a passenger.

Well another 12 possession game. Opinions? Especially interested to know from disco how his inside work went today.

Re: Tambling [Merged]

Okay at the start but faded half way through the second quarter.

One incident sticks in my head:

Tiger player has the mark in the back line and looks up to wing to kick it to someone.
Tambling and Riewoldt are in the area.
Tambling simple turns his back and jogs up feild while Riewoldt runs hard to create a target.

Mind boggles when you see that type of spirit.

Re: Tambling [Merged]

He's had enough opportunities.
He gives the impression he'd rather be elsewhere.
Geez he spends some time just walking around. Disappointment plus.

I agree.
Make a phone call to Scott Clayton.
He will not succeed at our club.

Re: Tambling [Merged]

It's almost worrying how downhill Tambling has gone this year.

12 possies this week. After getting, what, 9 last week?

Was expecting more of an effort this week. He does a few good tackles here and there, and the occassional good disposal, but he's capable of much more... It's like he's given up, and is sick of playing for us (which, to be honest, I wouldn't blame him at all).

Look at Raines. He couldn't get a game for us last year, now he's laughing at us, playing for the best team in the comp, and enjoying the better weather. I bet Tambling is thinking along the same lines.
