I said last week, Tambling is ready to play his best game for Richmond;
It didn't eventuate the way I would have liked, but I can feel this weeks game against the Dockers might be the one;
Does anyone have the same feeling?

Great call :clap

It was so good to see too - hope he has turned the corner.

He showed what he can be. Yet another dynamic kid in a cog of enthusiasm. The way he teamed iwth otehr kids who just ran and ran and attacked regardless.

He will grow into a champion and then we will be saying Buddy WHo?

I just hope Wallace keeps the kids and helps them grow!

I go to games, I see the replay, I analyse and analyse and analyse, and what I see is a lazy footballer with no inner will to want to be the best. Without that substance to me you will be nothing. Richard is slowly becoming a nothing. What makes me wrong and you right?

The future!

Well said, couldn't have said it better myself. If PRE had a "pious, opionated, condescending, stuck up" entrance test there'd be 1 less member.

Ouch that hurts.... :hihi

Oh please, whether we like it or not Richard Tambling cost us a number 4 pick in the National Draft.

He is not showing anything to suggest he deserved to be anywhere near that pick. Directly after him a superstar has emerged in Franklin.

The problem with Richard is his lack of workrate, especcially defensively and he doesn't get involved in games. He has been a major disapointment. You cannot deny that. We have seen Cyril Rioli come in and show more in three bloody games than Tambling has shown in four seasons!

Take off your bloody blinkers and watch the game closely, he doesn't WANT it enough and his attitude in the game stinks. His workrate is non existant, and for "the best junior to come out of Darwin" his skills are shabby unlike 99% of players out of Darwin.

Please, defend him if there was a cause, but he has deserved nothing, NOTHING to have people defending him.

Deledio is getting bloody close too to the spotlight being well and truly on him. Both need a kick up the you know what and start being men and putting their body on the line and play FOOTBALL.

Cut the crap, get real and realise this football club is going backwards, sorry, is staying where it is as we cant go any further back and people that defend the mediocre play of our players, accept the mediocrity this club produces.

Please dont compare players like Lewis, Pendlebury and Thomas - ie. Players who have consistantly shown talent and a will to win, to our squib Richard Tambling. I'm sorry but I am sick of being let down and our supporters (including me) overrating our players.

post of the year :clap

I'd suggest not being one of those types for next time he has a shocker Goodone.

I accept pious (had to look that one up), opinionated and condescending but comeon, stuckup? Surely not.

It's one game. The ebbs and flows aren't so dramatic if you don't park yourself so firmly in the black or the white.

::)

Last week it was called for, this week as I have stated in another post, I was proved wrong, and I will be happy to be proved wrong cause that means these two have extracted a digit and finally played football.

But you Sir are a typical get your hopes up supporter. One weeks performance and your right and I am wrong?

I hope it continues for years, the way they both played today was fantastic. Many tests still to come for these two though, but happy to be "
wrong" this week.

There is no other player on our list I want to see do better than Tambling.

The difference between his best and worst is getting less.
Massive step up today.

Yes he's getting very consistent. In fact since the last 3 or 4 rounds last year he has played very consistently. Also has bagged at least one goal in 6 of the last 7. Won't mention any more facts in fear of being called conceited again. ;D

Yeah great game for a change and maybe you can grow some balls just like Tambling and add the 'bling' back to your username chicken. ;D

Definitely not black and white, rarely am. So many variables in anyone's career, how can you ever be 100%?
