Trumps biggest challenge is how he deals with the Axis of Evil , China, Russia, North Korea & Iran.

These guys appeal to men who feel their masculinity is at risk from (what they would call) "woke" policies. The article I posted from Quilette (not that I necessarily support that point of view) does raise this issue.

As you suggest, guys like White & Chump will simply get richer under Trump. The gap between the have and have nots widens.

Trumps policies will surely result in greater inflation in the US. Yes, people will have more $$ in their pocket through tax cuts but will he really address the cost of living issues?

I am glad I do not live there. But we are at risk of going down the same path.

The price of oil will come down as he floods the market which will drive down inflation.
Lowering input costs.
Trumps goal is to abolish income tax.
We have the opportunity in Australia for the Government to harness the wealth creation of our natural resources so all people can live better lives. We are much better placed to build a fairer system than the US. yet the Labor/Liberal divide keeps us from achieving our full potential.

He's best mates with Putin, Xi Jinping and Kim Jong Un, they all like him and he likes them.......It won't be long until he's best mates with Iranian tyrant, he won't be able to resist Trumps charm.
 
There's a lot of after-the-event opinions on what went wrong, and whilst I think there's a few other factors to consider, I like Bernie Sanders' summation the best. And i think its a warning for the ALP here in Australia too. Focus on the core more. They're being lost.

I'm not sure what I'm enjoying more at the moment, watching MSNBC and CNN or coming on here and seeing the same sort of crap they're saying but in writing.

How dumb are Americans, how could they vote in the convicted felon, it's the uneducated whites,........ on it goes. It's the voter's fault because they're stupid, racist and sexist.

Nothing to do with the garbage policies the Democrats have been implementing and pushing. Nothing to do with cost of living, open borders, ridiculous policy on trans men in sports/locker rooms, lack of law and order, climate hoax policies costing people a fortune with power bills, the list goes on. The media, and many on here, actually think people believe them when they misrepresent much of what Trump says.

It's just beautiful, means they'll continue to lose and not just in the US. Germany will be next, they're sick to death of anti business, left wing policies rewarding takers and hurting the doers, the coalition has fallen apart and will get smashed at the next election. Hopefully Australia shortly thereafter.

Governments around the world have been hit by the perfect storm. Supply issues due to Covid and Russia invading Ukraine drove inflation up.
Incumbent Govt's all around the globe are getting kicked to the curb.
No Govt's could do anything about supply shortages and rising inflation.
Biden stuffed up by loosening the border restrictions, if it wasn't for that big mistake up, the overturning by the Supreme Court of Roe v Wade would've been enough to get the Democrats over the line IMHO.
