Talking Politics

Equally there is a massive understatement of COVID deaths. For instance in the UK they didn’t count people who died in aged care.
The medical fraternity believe that probably 2-3 times more people died of COVID than was reported around the world.
I can guarantee you that in Victoria COVID deaths were reported under a very strict criteria and if anything understated. COVID is like any other respiratory disease, if you have other issues you are more likely to die from it. That is true of pneumonia and it is true of common influenza.
Please don’t play this game again TM.

Map on this page, where you can hover over each country for death per 100K of population.

Unsure of accuracy, but is fairly telling.

Whilst the rest of us kidnapped kids and sold them for satanic rituals
Did you know that Bilbo Gates was listed on Jeffy Epstein's flight manifesto several times, AND Gates wife said that Bill's friendship with Jeffy was a large reason she knew it was time to run the hell away from him?

So Epstein was behind the 5g receivers that were injected into us under the guise of Covid vaccinations? No wonder I felt younger afterwards.

Yes I didn’t know that but I am not sure what that has to to with the theories related to Bill gates and COVID

Absolutely nothing. I just thought it was interesting.

As this is the Talking Politics board, what does covid have to do with it? :)

My personal view is that he decided to quit at the peak of his powers because it was only going to go south from here. He decided at 51 that it was time to make some money. That’s a personal view only

Each to their own. But I would advise you to listen to the Podcast he was on last Friday. He answers a lot of those questions.

and when i say listen to the podcast, don't read a newspaper article about the podcast because they twist his words (as always). put aside 80 minutes of your day to listen to the whole thing.

So all these meedjia bastards have been lying through their back teeth every five minutes of every day, yet they're never pulled to account by one single politician or political party

What do you mean? Mark Dreyfus did this exact thing last week, and was criticised for it. Can't win.

I'm the first one to say that I am staggered Albo hasn't yet called the Royal Commission into media diversity. it has got so blatantly biased nowadays, Labor pretty much uses it to their own advantage. But that is also wrong. A balanced media is the key to a fair democracy.

The right really hate Dan Andrews because the is the exact politician they really want on their side.

There are rumours Andrews is being head hunted for the federal seat of Dunkley after the sitting member passed away. Wouldn't that wind up haters? :mhihi

I don't think he'll say yes at this point as he wants a break. But i don't think we've heard the last of Andrews either.

My comment on why he left was made before the podcast was reported but it is a personal view but also a view I heard around the Victorian public service when he left. Btw I don’t have a problem with him leaving to make some money.

The biggest single issue I have with Victorian state government integrity (and there are a few) was the appointment of the HWU to do training in hospitals without a tender which was highlighted by IBAC. Not only was the union completely inept at doing the training, they were not qualified to do it. That’s one part but the way IBAC’s criticism of it was dismissed was a terrible look.

You can’t have a system which enforces the power of oversight across all aspects of operations and then have the Premier showing disdain for it. The appointment of a union to do work without a tender when the ALP gets so much of its funding from unions is just slapping that oversight in the face.

I still favour the ALP as the better bet for government in Victoria but imo Andrews leaving is the best thing for them. Hubris was getting him no doubt.

Funny you discussing bias yet see nothing wrong with Andrews comments. Twisted his words? Each to their own alright.

Because he's an angry little snowflake that gets triggered by everything
Gotta laugh as if a Lib appointed Ambassador cancelled the said charitable London Australia day event this page would be saturated with "hang em high " comments from the True Blue Reds under the bed Labor wokes.

Australia Day was never a big deal when I was a lad growing up. It's been a public holiday nationally on the 26th of January for less than 30 years.....It's just another day to me.

Your choice but to me a Day of Honour for Australians who believe whole heartedly that it is a honour to be called Australian.

If I was given the choice of how I wanted to be remembered, I'd much rather be remembered as a half decent, honest, caring bloke, ahead of being honoured to be Australian.
