That makes two of us, I get my fix from PRE, I'm not on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.Sad as this may sound, I have never used any social media other than PRE, if that even counts
Talent only gets you so far, you still have to work at being professional. There are plenty of good ordinary footballers who have played 150+ games, and far more talented players who play less that 50.
Interesting both Paul Peos and Cam Reid didn’t know where he was for over 2 weeks back in November and doubted he would return to punt Rd . Wasn’t where he should of been and was found living in the Casino in Perth . Came back to Melbourne in Dec and lasted 2 sessions and now back in Perth .Doubt his manager would've let him claim to the judge that he was in Perth for a COVID test. Was possibly worried about consequences and tried to handle it himself.

I did take your advice though and checked out Instagram and Facebook via google.
Unfortunately on Instagram all I could really see was pictures and not a lot of intelligible comment, let alone ramblings from Stack. I couldn't work out how to view the comments in chronological order, so to me at least it made little sense. I couldn't understand 90% of the stuff I was reading.
Stack's Facebook doesn't seem to have been updated in quite a while?
I didn't even try Twitter, it all just got to hard................
Give me PRE any day. The threads keep you on the track of some semblance of a conversation, it is in chronological order, and people generally try to communicate in something resembling English.
The funeral was 14 weeks agoThank you Judge Judy.
Stack fked up and now Will pay the price.
*Firstly, he could've hit the track in the 8 weeks he was suspended.
But he did jack *smile*.
*Secondly, he returned to pre-season training
in shocking shape.
*Thirdly, The club needs to come and say the truth, was he in Perth for a funeral or was he sent away from the group to have a think about how much footy means to him.
Covid has bent this kid over.
The only offences he commits are Covid breaches. So he isn't BAD.
I reckon a good one on one with Balme will sort him out

You make some good points Ezy, but if we knew everything the club had done for Sydney to assist with his transition into the AFL life we would be shocked how far the club had gone for him.doesnt this timeline suggest grandad died around the time of Kebabgate 1?
is it a possible scenario that, rather than being a useless human, devoid of any redeeming features,
That Sydney didnt deal with the added social and cultural ramifications of Covid on top of him struggling with the professional standards of being an AFL footballer? 20 year old black kid with a tough upbringing locked up 4000km from home? its a pretty big ask. I wonder how Marlion would have coped at 20? Dusty? Callum Coleman Jones?
havnt his apparent 3 strikes (fat and slow, kebabgate 1, kebabgate 2) all come in Covid?
Dont get me wrong, Im not for a moment suggesting we should make Sydney captain.
Indeed, it does appear that his commitment to being an AFL footballer, and his impulse control, relationship with booze and his socialisation
may preclude a career, that the early knocks from the watchers were to a large degree on the money.
but how about we publicly show the kid some compassion off-field?
he didnt ask to be born with a gift for demolishing Melbourne tough guys limbs.
I'm sure young Sydney is doing the best he can right at the moment,
like all of us.
its a tough gig. But at least we get to grin in any weather.

for me his turning up utterly unfit for pre season is the biggest indicator he is wasting his and the clubs time. All it takes is 45mins 3-4 days a week to train and get himself to a half decent base. He can’t even do that.
Move him on with the clubs best wishes and let him and his support group in WA sort him out. The RFC and AFL is no longer a benevolent society. The money and resources aren’t there anymore for recalcitrants like Sydney to have this continuous cycle of doing the wrong thing, apologising, promise to work hard, mess up, apologise etc....leopards and spots
