Sydney Stack

I’m a bit of a nerd and pretty well behaved but still did my share of stupid *smile* at that age so can definitely empathise and if we search in our own history I’m sure we can remember some *smile* We did at that age we are glad isn’t on the front of the newspaper.

Benny summed it up well - they are angry at them but also need to help them come back from it. Cotchin’s error counts the same as this one in terms of 3 and we lose premiership points.

All of them knew the rules or could have found out if they weren’t sure.

How Stack and CCJ respond will determine their future - will make or break them and I’m sure you can find examples of worse indiscretions where people bounce back. I’d back us in to help them really shine in 2021.

Club needs to get on front foot now make it clear no more incidents fullstop or else 3rd strike were deep trouble.

Thats not rare, i reckon plenty of Trumps followers are closet, self loathing homosexuals.

Promises to be a lot of fun if the favourite gets home on Nov 3. Giddy up!

Why am I laughing about boobs, kebabs and a punchup? Oh that's right, reality still bites. World is longer than 2020.

More I think about this the more I believe club have failed in this situation although Syd is an adult who repeatedly makes poor decisions
Has nothing outside footy .
They took on Sydney when nobody else would entertain
18 months into the exercise and it might be better for both club and player to part ways
Plenty of players have parted ways in the past eg Marty McGrath extremely gifted but all too hard
Syd is an extremely poor listener who just doesn’t get it
Teammates have tried and as of yesterday his teammates and club have failed

I am not sure hat it was a good idea for the club to even hold an event in the bub where alcohol was served to the players. It just does not make sense to me. I know it is not a prison and boys will be boys etc but I just don't think the club should be sanctioning alcohol consumption - full stop! Why even take the risk that things get out of hand?

Maybe they would prefer to do it under supervision rather than have the boys arrange it themselves. They obviously didn't think they needed an after party too.

If everything I did on the weekend when I was that age ended up in the paper, they'd need a bonus lift out section in the herald sun to cover all the details.

Plenty of good-looking, highly talented, slightly conceited and immature but fundamentally good 20-year-olds.

you do know that alcohol is allowed in the AFL Hub from 5pm till 8pm daily , although bar fridges are locked and any drinks must be served in dining areas over dinner

A shadow of his 2019 form but Rioli and Castagna are still getting games too.
Depth is key, will be interesting to see what we do with Stack and CCJ

Now, he's "shattered".
After being gifted games this season.
After this completely stupid breach.
He's "shattered".
The question is though is he "shattered" enough to fix it or is it just another example of why the club maybe should have listened to all the people saying "Don't go there"?

Is that only in the transition hub or all hubs @Stig .... and if the latter is the case and we were to extrapolate that directive, would it not follow that the QLD/ADE teams can only get on the gas between 5 and 8.... in their own homes?
Therefore, without any knowledge whatsoever, I'm thinkin it's just the initial hub.... yes/no/maybe?

it's not the club or his teammates. It's Sydney. He's got to own this and make some hard choices.

All hubs over dinner meal time

Syd isnt capable of making decisions. That’s the problem. Turn back the clock 2 years , not even capable of turning up anywhere on time for AFL clubs interviews . .RFC are very aware of his situation, but it’s all too hard . They can’t fix . His friends that he has or had cannot fix . Nothing to do with age either . He just doesn’t get it ! End of story .

Seriously, how could anyone blame the club for this? Going out pissed at 1:30am when in 'hub isolation.' The boys let the 21st function get the better of them. Young men make poor decisions all the time on the gas (I certainly have) but it's their decision.

Do the time, put their head down and come back strong next year and all is forgiven, if not forgotten.

I suspect this will be yet another case of unfulfilled potential & talent. Can’t protect people from themselves.
