Sydney Stack

Stackman was being pretty authentic getting the *smile* off CCJ.

he was playing to his strengths

I love him

And if this video exist - then why did the police arrest them? Police generally dont arrest people for reacting well to being assaulted?

did Mary Poppins live in your town?

the CCT footage (goggle it) shows the most pissweak brawl the Gold Coast has ever seen.

If this is the video, then i suspect we are seeing it differently. I reckon there is a fair chance this has been proceeded by something. You are drawing a long bow if you think this footage resolves them. They were not even meant to be there FFS

3:30am you're asking for trouble, sorry I have to disagree. You prevent the situation by not putting yourself in the potential situation. Professional athletes know this when they aren't hub restricted let alone in the current situation. We all make mistakes in life and have to suffer the consequences. I'm not sure this will be treated lightly.

I didn't say no consequeces though. Just that there was an over-reaction. 2 blokes minding their own business, regardless of the time, when one gets assulted and the other helps him out is not cause for expulsion. Internal discipline sure. A "hub" penalty from AFL, sure. But this is excessive.

If they go to another club yes, but if they are delisted and not picked up?
I reckon there's a 1% chance Syd wouldn't get a go somewhere, and more chance of Elvis singing the national anthem at the grand final than no one picking up CJ.

True, but i didn't see any of the *smile* that came this year happening so who knows. Every club will be cutting their list down and taking chances on blokes with sketchy records and 10 week suspensions might not be as in vogue as other seasons

We'll wait and see what the truth is and then decide on whether it's been an over-reaction. Being arrested makes me think twice about what has really happened.

No one would go near Stack previously because of his reputation. He probably managed to fix some of that with his performance in 2019. Now he's right back where he started. Bargain basement stuff.

Its not. Its exactly what i suspected. This hub is an extraordinary step to keep this shitshow of a season going. Them breaking it to go out in public to a strip-joint and eat kebabs at 3am then finding themselves involved in a punch on & arrest by police was incredulous. 10 weeks is about right. There best chance is for us to make the grand final then at least the 10 weeks drops down to only 5, which might make them more appealing to another team

Was there a hearing? Their livelihoods and reputations have just been smashed. Were they provided with separate representation from the RFC, or represented by the players union, player managers or by Counsel,.Did they get the opportunity to speak to anyone?

yep, and his 2020 has been shithouse. Averages 10 touches, 2 tackles, 1 mark + 0 goals a game. Its gross that he has played 9 games while RCD has nil - he was given so many chances to prove himself and this is how he responds? Such a bad look.

Yes they broke covid afl hub rules wear that but 10 weeks player from dogs hit 4 cars and got 4 games.Footage shows they were provoked make of it what you like..https://7news.com.au/sport/afl/cctv-footages-emerges-of-afl-players-fight-outside-gold-coast-strip-club-c-1292148.amp?__twitter_impression=true

That's what i was looking at.
2 20 year olds cop 10 weeks, while 1 vice captain to decides to drive when he was drunk.
And the other was that drunk that he forgot to put his pants on.
If it was a Collingwood player he would be back before the finals.
Like what they did with Stephenson

It's a disgrace.

I guarantee if they got sacked.
We would be going to court.
Unfair dismissal
