Sydney Stack

Got better as the game went on. Great experience for him. Must persist with him. Reminds me a bit of some of shanks early work, never got the ball a heap but could impact, some bad mixed in with the outrageous. Stack will be fine.

Overall was disappointed in Syds game, had a great opportunity against a B grade midfield , Boak is the only A grader that is consitent in there, in saying that thought he looked more composed when he had possession. I’d still rather him play across half back , that’s where his played his best footy. In saying that he should have learnt a bit last night and another midfield gig against a young Suns midfield next week might just be the spark that gets him going back to his best

Doing the dirty work, led all Tigers in pressure acts the last two weeks and second this week. Learning both sides of the game - will be a star.

Can't agree. Boak's no A-grader.

No room for Syd in the backline now. We could make room, but why when there are gaping holes mid and forward.

Boaks overall resume may not be A grade spook but his 2020 season has been.

True re no room in the back half for Sydney and we definitely need some more midfielders atm , however I think that’s where he plays his best footy and it’s the best place to be to find some form with some easy ball, I like him more then Eggs back there, however I highly doubt Eggs could go through the middle .

With Bacher back I’d like to see Short moved up the ground and Syd back, much prefer Syd one on one deep in defence then Eggs or Short. Key moving forward I believe is with RCD, Dow and Ross and what level they get to as genuine mids

100 percent Boak is an A grader and has been consistent.

I think that players like Stack and Balta are at their best – and provide the greatest value to the team – when the ball is coming at them ... when they see the game unfolding before them. That's when we see the perfect blend of natural ability and performing a team role. Plus there's a certain freakish X-factor that kicks in at the point when defence turns to attack. Having said that, where would Houli go? Can Houli run the wing? Or can Short?

I think Houli could be excellent on a wing, however I ain’t moving the best attacking defender in the game from the part of the ground he owns
