Must be why he's being played outside of best form mate.

He is too good to leave out at his best or near enough to it, and with the number of seniors unavailable nows the time to run him and try and run him into form.

He will also be aware that that his spot is under threat with those to return.

Maybe that will be enough to get him up and about.

That said he is a second year player this year so he may also be having some second year tail off as well as the covid break stuff.

Yes, I think he might have lost a bit of confidence after he had a couple of poor games down back. Looks a lot more comfortable now that he's not playing there.
