Player 66% of game time last night and looked stuffed after 2 mins of running . Dimma pumping his tyres up abit ?
Give him time. Played a different role last night with some time on the ball which requires more running. I’d move him back behind the ball again or up forward.

More pressure acts than anyone on the ground - in only 2/3rd game time. Not bad. Kid is going to be a gun.

Rioli had 6 tackles last week and got dropped . Couldn’t possibly play Syd next week . Played 2/3 of the game tonight and was completely gone . Fitness and speed are glaring issues at present .

Rioli's had plenty of chances and hasn't been puuting

Yep I thought despite the fumbliness he really worked hard on his defensive game. Maybe that's what Dimma told him to focus on and the rest will come.

He worked hard. His touch was off but that will come. We know what he can do, we just have to keep playing him IMO. Reckon the fact that Shai is killing it and Marlion is on the improve will inspire him. He looked a bit subdued walking off the ground, if he keeps working hard the rewards will come.

Problem now is we’ve no spot for him down back
We just have to give him time to regain his touch and composure (and his fitness) but it will have to be wing, forward and in the middle at times

Pressure acts are gold. And for our game style, they’re gold-plated gold.

Good form is created by hard work. Stack is on the right path.

Yes, and while Stacky didn't get a lot of ball, what he did get, I thought he used it very well by hand and foot. Some thing to work with.

It will come.
Plays again.
Possibly trying too hard ( not to get dropped again ).

For mine he looks a long way off. He was actually looking good in the pre-season games and was decent in rd1. He must have eaten alot of KFC during iso and spent too much time on tic tok. Needs to be smashed on the training track and come back when he can chase his opponent as he was walking from contest to contest last night. We can't afford any passengers especially with so many senior players out.

That was the most disappointing aspect about him last night.
Some things he got right, that he didn’t..

Fitness issue?????

Sydney doesn't have to be the 2019 version tonight but will be looking for an improved effort from last week.
With players soon to come back he needs to grasp his opportunity..
Go back to basics Stackman & do the simple things well.

Wasn’t that long ago that Stacky locked up Eddie Betts against the Crows in an assured performance.
He gets back to that form, I’d give him a future job on Charlie Cameron. Would be a good assignment and frees up Grimes to sweep.
