Still giving us nothing...'cept Cups and Medals

How many times have they travelled especially to SA & WA. Hey Gill?? I can see a 17 MCG fixture for them next season while we continue with 5 or 6 interstate again.

Dude, we had 14 games at the MCG and 17 in Melbourne this year. This is exactly what Collimgwood get every year. And now that we are on top with 100,000 members, we will continue to get this for the foreseeable future.

I thought Tony Jones was a Mugpie supporter, so I wouldn't put any value on what he says.

He's merely talking as a supporter not a credible unbiased commentator. Imo he's a terrible reporter, he's been caught out many times as being totally inaccurate in his stories.

Just ignore any thing he says & you'll be in a happy place ;)

Look back to 2012.

Rich 6 games interstate from 2012 - 2017 and 5 this season (total 41)
Coll 5 games interstate from 2012 - 2018 (total 35)

Since 2012, out of those totals, we played at AO and Subiaco (the two toughest opponents) 16 times, and they've played just 11 times. Their interstate games are always the easy ones.

What happened to the days when they use to report on games in a unbiased view?
Most media people now have a agenda or too busy supporting their own club.

I'm afraid to say, Richo included. It's not professionalism anymore.

Big Nose and QBrain sagely nodding and agreeing with the Coll hordes calling up to say INJURIES!!!! I tuned in late, but from what I could make out, if we win the flag, we won't deserve it, and never will.

It’s a little sad but the weekly refresh on this table is awesome.

https://afltables.com/afl/teams/allteams/last20.html

Best team in last 5, 20 and 50 games and still have includes the back end of an ordinary 2016.

For so called jurno's they aren't doing away home work. When isn't Jamie Elliott and Daniel wells not injured
Reid is lucky he is still on the list,
Aish, broomhead, Dunn, etc aren't any good
The only ones missing are degoey and treloar

Absolutely spot on Zips .. and if Sidebottom and Pendlebury could not get over 50% DE or however low it was - how do they think the ball butcher Treloar would have gone?

At one stage Sideclacker had 20 something disposals at 20 odd % efficiency. Effectively 4 disposals that contributed to the team. He improved to about 45% later on but still pretty poor.

Agree Zipps. Our outs were just as influential. Jack Graham, Bachar Houli, Dan Butler, Reece Conca all as valued as the Collingwood outs if not better as they free up our best on the field.
It is a bit good that we don't need to see this excuse everywhere though. Collingwood score did not reflect how crap they are :rofl

I say enjoy it. Embrace the hate. Embrace the salty tears from opposition supporters.
Richmond hate is a beautiful thing and it takes me back to my young days.

Last year there was goodwill which felt slightly uncomfortable. This year it's like the early 70s revisited. Graham Richmond used to talk about Richmond vs the rest which he loved. For those of us who were around in those days it feels like the way it should be.

He was going at 11% until the second half.... :rofl

I’m not usually one to be a ‘world is against us’ type but on talking footy they just droned on about Collingwood injuries and how Richmond cheats in aerial contests.

Walls still would have given him 2 votes.

With each win it's building as we head into another finals series.

The tactics that we use, is it cheating or playing within the rules.

Do we have an advantage because we play our home games at the G.

Do we have the right to recruit or get free agents, how can this be so....

How can a young kid that had the nous to kick the goal that he did be deemed legal when he threw it.

How the Premier back man dives...

FFS the list goes on and on..

If if wasn't enough that some within the oppo supporters and media to some extent think we were the luckiest team to win the flag last year, no injuries, home ground advantage, lucky...
Worst team to win a flag.

BG said in an interview at the start of the year that he thought he he could sense some of the above, what I took from that interview was a steely determination to stick it right up people this year.

Oh how can I forget the innuendo and spite about our K members, this can't be true, we are fudging the figures, etc etc..

For a club that has had so much *smile* heaped on it for 37 years, it's even worse now because we are successful, geez it's a pretty warped world we live in.

I lived through the successful years and yes we were hated, despised but now with click bait and social media it's way OTT..

They only way to silence these doubters is to back it up again this year..
It's not gonna be easy I fear but I sense a determined group of young men who are ready to say to the football eff you and bring it home.

Yep!

Talking footy basically saying our backline is cheating!

Tom Hawkins will get an unprecedented number of frees on Friday.

White anting started after we won the GF! They have been pretty quiet while we have had a fantastic premiership defence!

Now they are back with white anting during the season setting up for the finals! The media and opo fans will not let this go. Oppo fans have been calling rance a diver since their last efforts. Now we will be called out as cheats off the ball!

Going to be tough from here! Not like the umps haven't been happy to be over officious towards us all year. with the media behind them the shafting will go up to 11!
