For all his Collingwood-ness, think Eddie's a bit of a closet Tiger fan.
He's my age so he grew up following the VFL of the 70s and 80s and I'm guessing he loves the big Victorian rivalries and he'd much rather see Collingwood v Richmond than West Coast v Gold Coast.

Funny, Ive has that idea as well.
Hope we smash again this time ;D

Mc Guire hates the Interstate clubs and he also would have had a gutfull of watching Geelong beat up on the Maggies in the past.

Yeah he likes the old firm clubs, and he loves dusty and Jack.

Was down the pub tonight, surprising I know, and beaker and the cookie monster were on one of the screens. The sound was down, but at one stage the had footage of the game on with big letters 'OMINOUS' over the top. Tremendous.

K Cornes is a real laugh.
His team of the round has four Port players...they beat the lowly Dogs
and has two Tigers, the top team who beat fourth placed Cats.
Also has Selwood who had little effect.

He is a miserable one eyed unprofessional footy writer.

I’m not surprised he only found spots for 2 tigers. Even in these parts, we had 6-7 (?) alternatives for BOG. Titch, Vlaus, Grima, Alex, Cotch, Short were all good, but no standouts.

So the H/S thinks 2018 is becoming too "predictable" and a "fizzer".
Er.. boys ... 13th have just smashed 2nd (really 1st) on their own dunghill. Good call.
Gee they really can not handle Richmond being dominant, can they?

Hey 23, why aren’t you watching your country vs your adopted country.

I WAS AT WORK !!!
And I couldn't decide who to barrack for. The heart said Australia but the head said Denmark could do more with the win (go further I mean).
Didn't much matter in the end.

How are things in Denmark 23?

City would have been buzzing with excitement. ?

I'm at work too 23. Watched it here and got excited when the captain scored from the penalty.

The country pretty much comes to a standstill when games like this are on.
Even people who normally couldn't care less about soccer will watch it.
The 1992 European Cup (which Denmark won) was held just after I moved here and I couldn't believe the national hysteria.
Only thing I had ever seen like it was the America's Cup in 1983.

Going to ask a stupid question 23 but did you have a Dutch background or was it just a golden opportunity to work there originally and you fell in love with the place ?

Danish - not Dutch.
No, I was born and bred in Melbourne to very Australian middle class parents, and I am as Aussie as the next bloke.
Only reason I live here is my wife's Danish.

First day on a three week assignment in our London branch happened to be England's first game in France 1998. Office emptied out at 12 game was at 1, so I had to write the first day off the schedule. But it made for a great 3 weeks ...evety night could wander into a pub and soak up the atmosphere.

Between your self and B&O, we've got a pretty strong connection going.

About time we played a home game in Copenhagen? Must be a better venue than Docklands, surely?

And here it is ... you can see the soccer goals on the flanks but if you have a good look at the left and right, you'll see the Aussie Rules goal and behind posts.

hehe very nice. Is that the only Aussie Rules ground in DK ?

I see on tge AFL website an article that has ranked us the number one destination club. In itself the article means nothing. But it does indicate how far we have come since being the perennial basket case.

All in less than 12 months

Finally the word is out - expectations are that we should go back to back. :clap :clap :clap
