Hopefully not a batch of Tom Roach and Andrew Raines :hihi

They only picked Roach to calm down the situation at the time. Frawley was on his knees and the army was very angry.
I remember the press conference. Talented and highly skilled
Yeah right.

Family day was the funniest. Gilmore, Raines, & roach

Seeing as he doesn't have to worry about Thomas this week could be the ideal man to run with boomer... Important role because he always kills us!

I can see Morris taking him when he rests forward and Axel tagging him on the ball. Axe will hurt him the other way too. Will keep Boomer very honest.

It was quite rascalish though..... :hihi He would have to be a contender for rascal of the year.
I think another Steve, in Johnson may have it wrapped up. He could even have multiple 'rascals'.

I don't think a player like boomer is the type you try and hurt the other way... You do that to players who are going to get 30 touches regardless.. Watson, pendlebury etc... Boomer needs a lock down player... He only needs 4 or 5 touches to create/ kick 4 or 5 goals and it can all happen in 5 minutes... As Richmond supporters have seen way too often over the years...

I reckon Mozza was beaten on the day. But He lifted and he kicked two goals.

Had a dip as usual, the 2 goals were nice but was absolutely smashed by Harvey who kicked 2 goals of his own and had a massive 14 scoring involvements.
Can't believe he got votes....but I suppose it was a hard day to find 3 blokes worthy of votes.

Not much chance of a defender winning his position when there's an avalanche of incoming. Thought Morris was one of few who worked his arse off n continued to try n create something from not much. For him to sneak forward n kick two goals speaks volumes for his efforts n damns a bunch of his team mates for their lack.

The quality of incoming was murderous, too, TM. Sheesh, dancing mids unmanned all over the park. Shocking.

Boomer is still their best player IMO and too good for Mozza on the day. Our man did ok.

Morris didn't play on Harvey for more than 10% of the game
Ellis and White mainly had him
Lots of rotations by the defence

White did the best on Harvey really, that may have been because it was later in the game and Harvey was stuffed, but Whitey burned him for pace.

Thought that was the worst game I've seen Steve play Walters beat him hands down
Couldn't get a handle on the ball today nothing went his way

Walters is a beauty. Kept him to one goal. Morris biggest problem is he can't take a over head mark in a contest,
But overall he hurt Walters every time he went to ground.

Actually agree. Did not concede a goal however.

still did a lot of patented steve morris things. wasn't horrible by any stretch.

Had an shocker.
But has so many credits in the bank.
Will bounce back.

Wasn't his best game but was breathing down his player's neck and putting body on body the whole game. Never gave up and made Walters earn every possession.
