Steve Morris F/S

Well done Morro, had a hand in the cultural shift at the club in recent times.

Great for the newbies that he is staying on at VFL level

Yep Rance during his B&F speach made a point of mentioning Morris and Maric for their efforts in improving the culture at the club.

No one can say he never gave his all for the Tigers.

He has my respect for that.

Well done Morro and great to have him stay on at VFL level, a true Tiger man cheers

Morro always gives 100% no matter whether he plays AFL or VFL, he'll be an asset to our VFL list.
Well done Morro

Had a bit soft spot for Morro early days, just always gave his all in every contest, and he did have one really good season where he blanketed many talented small forwards.

His goal on the run against Hawthorn was special too. Ran hard from the back flank and finished off the hard work

Well done Steve on giving your most and playing 87 AFL games . That’s 87 more than me and a lot more than others with talent to burn. Left nothing, gave nothing to the oppo.

Good clubman, happy to have him mentor our twos.

Steve is well described by the above posts. I will always remember him for his courage and undying effort, although not coming from one blessed by a high talent level.

Well done, Moro. Great you're willing to stay on and keep setting that example of ferocity for all the VFL boys coming through.

Yeah, the sort of player I find myself defending. Always gave 100% no matter what. When dropped he kept playing with that same drive and tenacity. These sort of players are the ones that all great clubs need.

The Morris of 2012/13 was fantastic. The dashing half back flanker.

But with each passing year it got worse. He played 64 games in his first 3 seasons, 23 in his last 3.

It was chalk and cheese watching the dashing half back flanker Morris with the defensive forward Morris and the defender Morris who no longer got much of the ball and was always late to the contest.

Averaged 15 disposals a game in 2012, down to 10 in 2013 and 8.7 in 2015.

Steve you weren't the most gifted player but as pervious posters have posted you always gave it 110% when you don the yellow and black jumper on and that's all we can ask. best wishes and thank you for your great efforts and will look forward to watching you in our VFL team for season 2018
