It's seriously *smile*ed up. Talk about the potential to derail a season.

I guess the positive is that whoever we took over there was gonna get hammered. Better not to throw in a Lennon, Miles, Lloyd, etc, and destroy their confidence completely.

Just destroy the 22 who went over?

Tragic footballer. That brings us back to the glory days of the late 80's.
It's not his fault he is still on the list

Mentioned before the game that there was a rumour he was going to play defensive forward but I still can't believe we went back there again. Where is he in the last quarter? Backline again. How many more times do we need to experiment with this?

5 and 1 - yet it doesnt feel like it partly, mostly, because of what this selection signifies..

no disrespect to Morris, but if your a young kid in thr VFL and cannot get ahead of him then they are not working hard enough.

B2

2:50 to go in the 2nd qtr.
We have just kicked the last goal to get back to 14 pts.
He is playing defensive fwd.
We need to close out the half and regather ourselves.

We have great defensive setup in the 50 so the Crows chip it across the middle of the ground with an extra player and Morris and Daniel Butler must cover the extra player and cause a long kick in. His decision to not run on and cover Brodie Smith (who strolls in to 53m and kicks the goal) but to turn back and cover Jake Kelly who is 80m from goal and completely out of play is atrocious. He will cop a pasting for that in the review.
Forward pressure is not just about effort. You have to have the ability to identify the obvious.

Should not have been selected tonight, should never be selected again. Represents the past.

It takes about 7 or 8 shockers in a row for Hardwick to drop his love child, unlike 1 or 2 for everyone else.

Let's see how much sway everyone else has at selection. I bet he plays again vs the Dogs.

He was picked to play off -
VFL practice matches
A 35 goal win against a 3rd rate side
A win against Sandy

Off an ACL to go to Adelaide against the hottest team around..

And he was NOT that good before the ACL.....!!

Correct.

He was setup to fail tonight. Never going to succeed.

That Dimmer thought he could is funny.

Disgraceful decision to play him tonight. To think he could even make a difference was a joke.

This has Dimma written all over it.

Yeah he had 2 full games off an ACL then straight in.

In one of those games full he managed only 14 touches against North Ballarat.

Tearing it up for selection!
