Steve Morris F/S

Im sure he's injured but what im saying is the docs have probably said he can play the season out if he can deal with the pain as it won't get any worse if he continues and can probably get it cleaned up at seasons end.. Id be amazed if he is playing and can do further damage, thats almost a players association issue if thats the case..

Either way its better he has a spell and hopefully Darrou or someone else gets their chance

Shouldn't we be happy about this? I actually quite like Steve Morris and don't think he's been anywhere near as bad as many on this thread have claimed, but his shoulder is well and truly buggered and needs a rest if not an operation. Maybe someone can sit down and talk him into getting it fixed now. He can sit the rest of the year out and we can give a youngster a go and see if they've got it.

ideal situation would be to get surgery on the shoulder now and get him ready fro the pre season.

But I guess it depends on how desperate is the coaching staff

Sounds good CTT, but when has the match committee this year, looked at swapping poor performing seniors with a young alternative? No confidence that will occur, just wish they had the Kahonas to do it.

Amazing.

The tribunal gives our slipper and slider a week and the opposition kicks the second lowest score against all year.

Only the GWS debacle of 5 goals was a lower score.

Watch Supercoach rush him back next week so Wingard can kick a half dozen.

In all seriousness how nice was it to watch defenders who actually kept their feet for a change.

He'll be back against Port. O'Hanlon or Arnot will make way for him.

True. Wasn't missed at all.

Yep and herein lies the problem.
A youngster gets one game to perform before being dropped and the same senior players with the same deficiencies get game after game.

But didn't you miss the weekly moment when Rance and Morris both charge to the ball kamikaze style and smack heads knocking each other over so their opponent ca then stroll into an open goal? It's just not the same when Rance can run around intercepting everything while being surrounded by players who are aware of his presence.

A dumb, dumb player. I saw it from a mile off when people were still praising his 'courage'.

He is a liability. Worst decision maker in the business.

How the hell does he keep getting a game?
