Time to get his shoulder fixed & ready for next year. No point going on this year.

Exactly get his shoulder right and bring him back for round 23 2016 and then delist him

Sat a bit higher than normal this week so decided to keep a close eye on Steve.

The guy is a complete liability at present. Does everything good footballers don't do.

- Cant keep his feet - critical anywhere, but even more so for a back pocket.
- Not reading the play. Gets caught ball watching.
- Footskills very poor, struggles to hit even easy targets.

Is being played on reputation only, not form. Funny think is a spell in the two's in an role upfield might actually help his confidence but Dimma will keep playing him & keep being let down.

That's because he's not an AFL footballer Leysy.

Correct on the reputation part.

Dimma needs to find a spot for him in the 22 every week. His name is the first on the team sheet every Thursday.

My observations also from seeing the 2 Punt road VFL games this year. Unfortunately Helbig has basic skill flaws with hand and foot that makes me wonder if they are too entrenched to ever be cured.
It's a shame because he has a go.

I think our unimaginative coaches pigeon - hole players too fast.

I think Rance could be a Harry Taylor occasional forward.

I wonder about other player positions. Morris may be a good flanker or small forward? Try it! Maybe in the VFL but it deserves a bit of imagination and effort.
Agree Ghost. I would like to see Rance in the centre square a la Roughy occasionally.

are we that desperate that morris is being forced to play with one shoulder?

So did I. And you’re spot on in all your points. Perhaps you could've added doesn’t win the ball.
Despite his heroics Morris is now a serious weak link. A mark spoiler at best which just isn't good enough at this level.

Hardwick still holds up Morris and the likes of Jake King as representing the tiger spirit. Both are past their best and wouldn't get a game in a half decent side. Go figure. Perhaps in a way Harwick's loyalty to Morris and King is an insight into Hardwick himself. No sense of 'cut throat'.

Morris' chronic shoulder problems are unfortunately not chronic enough for me or more importantly for Richmond.

Booked on rough conduct charges. *smile*ridiculous by the MRP. The game is going to the dogs.

They really have pushed the game waaay out of kilta IMO, and all to appease the soccer mums. Now while I can see how doing so is a good move, it has just gone way too far.

I fail to see how he got Dempser high in the second one. Worth the appeal on that for sure. Not that I agree that he should be suspended at all.

Well a least a few around here will be happy to see Morris suspended.

l am sick of him holding his shoulder every time he goes down and gets back uo
why hes still playing i dont understand. anyone with injury should be send to the surgen
to get fixed and ready for next year. we as a club cant even do this.

3121fc i called for this week two i think, i would be amazed if the docs haven't had a good look and advised he's fine and won't do any more damage.. He's had a shocker of a year so a spell either way is best outcome!
