Its obviously golf. And the two major championships that he won were the US Open.

(Disco08.....the "Duckman".... may know the answer to this.)

Correcto BJ !

Tragic story. Finished second in the 1910 US Open. Then won the 1911 (at age 19) and 1912 US Opens.

Fantastic player that could have been one of the true greats of all time. But just after his second US Open win he started displaying some strange behaviour. He went to the British Open in 1914 and when he came back he had a blackout and that was that. He had to be committed. He was let out of the institution every so often to play his beloved game and he could still beat just about anyone he played with/against but he could not hold his concentration and for the most part didn't really know where he was. Nobody really knows what brought it on. Very sad.

While we are on back to back US Open winners. Name the golfer who completed the double and then his game disappeared apparently due to over analysing of his swing.

Was it the legendary Ralph Guldahl won in 1938 & 39? His game disappeared as he had trouble spelling his name.

Guldahl won three major championships. He claimed the U.S. Open title in 1937 and 1938. He was runner up at the Masters in both 1937 and 1938, before taking that title in 1939.

Guldahl game then fell apart and he didn't win after 1940. Two-time PGA champion Paul Runyan commented, "It's the most ridiculous thing, really. He went from being temporarily the absolute best player in the world to one who couldn't play at all." One popular theory is that when he wrote an instructional book, he overanalyzed his swing and it fell apart. He played occasionally in the 1940s but then quit tournament golf for good and spent the rest of his working life as a club professional. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1981

All yours Tiger 44

Thanks BJ. Who was the first interdominion winner for legendary harness racing trainer RV Knight and who was the driver?

MK unfortunately the great Popular Alm never won an Interdominion. And neither did Vin Knight.

Well done ML - VJ Knight drove Bag Limit - the year after had a choice between Our Maestro and Jodies Babe (in Perth) and chose Our Maestro which ran a gallant second to Jodies Babe.

What was unusual about Carlton player Fred Fitzgibbon's involvement in the brawls of the infamous 1945 Bloodbath Grand Final?

He wasn't picked in the Carlton team, joined in as a spectator?

Both very close, try to be just a little more correct/specific with the details.
