Actually, on reflection bigwow is correct. I was looking for that he was a watching the game after being suspended in the Prelim but bigwow basically said that anyway. My info was that he got 3 weeks in the prelim extended to 7 after the GF.

All yours bw.

Nick Jewell, currently playing in WA for Vics and played a game for Tigers a few years ago (about 5)

Tiger 44, you are the man.
Nick, son of Tony, Jewell played 1 senior game for RFC, and has played 6 First Class matches fro Vic.

Sorry about the delay in posting. Given that Xcellent failed in yesterday's Cox Plate, who was trainer Mike Moroney's last Group 1 winner in Australia?

Not sure why Moroney doesn't appear in my original post however if it is censored then I guess it won't appear in this one either. No, not True Jewels Mainlandy. Trainers name is M_O_R_O_N_E_Y (hope that works?)

Well done mk33, horse was Pernod - the race was the Dubai Duty Free, previously the Show Day Hcp, Marlboro Cup, whatever, the 1400m race. I was lucky enough to own a hair on her tail and was a great day!

Did you do well out of 44 as she won over $700,000 didnt she. I still loved even I put a lot on her in group 1 mares race at Flemington. Was the Dubai race she beat Bel Espirit or was that another race.

My question was watching Bodyline mini series last night which if anyone likes cricket is worth getting but not as accurate as the book "Bodyline Autopsy"

Don Bradman got two wickets in his test career including one in the Bodyline series 1932/33, who was that wicket in that series ?

mk33 (back to Pernod) yes, was the Caulfield race she ran down Bel Esprit (raced by Kevin Sheedy). We had a ball but as I only owned a hair on the tail, ended up making a few dollars but the enjoyment was the major plus. She always tried her heart out but never really fired at Flemington - track was always very firm when she got beat there, twice in the Mares Race on Derby Day, although she still managed a second and a fourth from two goes.

well done 44, be great to own a racehorse of that quality, she was in my black book especially at Caulfield yet she ran well in top fields at Flemington. Is she out to foal now
