On that same theme I feel the same way about the last Queen album that they did with Freddie called Made in Heaven . Some of the vocals are padded by Roger Taylor because Freddie was so sick when it was being made and it wasn't released until 4 years after his death. The song "The show must go on " is so tinged with sadness because you can feel what Freddie must have thought when he sang it .

The show must go on : if there's a song that best describes this club and supporters over the last 30 years then it's this one!

Any song you can belt out with gusto when your in the car/home alone...

Bed of Roses - Bon Jovi

Listening to Atomic by Blondie gives me gusto...........including looking at (well.. what was) her beautiful face.

I remember missing the Melbourne concert.

Went to Canberra on a bus with my knees around my head.

It was worth it though.

Open air, weed smell and the band rocked hard. ;D

Bloody hell smasha - would love a dollar back for every beer I drank on a Thursday/Saturday night at Amadeus watching you blokes.

OMG - 2 blasts from my past. Big Deal and Amadeus. smasha, I can't imagine the number of times I saw you guys. There were a few great covers bands we used to follow back in the day and yours was definitely one of them. We'd get out the gig guide and decide where we'd go based on who was playing where. And Amadeus was a Thursday night ritual in my uni days. Ahhh the memerories (very hazy ones anyway)....

A long time ago it was.

"Somebody that I used to know" released last week by Gotye, the man behind the beautiful "Hearts a mess".
Check out the film clip with the amazing Kimbra, wow. Blown away by this song.
