Just wondering if we could muster up a PRE band .

I've been playing drums since age 7 now I'm close to 45.

Anyone else care for a Tiger jam?
I reckon the band the RFC use are lame lol.

Actualy Big Deal (cover band I was in for 12 years) did a Richmond Family day once.

Bloody hell smasha - would love a dollar back for every beer I drank on a Thursday/Saturday night at Amadeus watching you blokes.

Liked the Hank snow smash. I'm a DJ, mainly a hobby, but I do about 6-10 paid gigs a year through word of mouth. Vinyl only, 2X SL1200s. Tomorrow night I've got a gig DJing a housewarming party with a hillbilly theme. Went through my collection and was amazed at how much country I've accumulated when I stick it all in one crate. Been listening to it to re-aquaint myself with the tracks, wow, some amazing stuff. Loretta Lynn, earl Scruggs and Lester Flatt, Hank W, about 10 Johnny Cash records, Dolly, heaps of Elvis, Lefty Frizzell, George Jones, as well as Slim, Chad Morgan, Jimmy Reed, 'pass the buiscuits', Frankie Laine, Marty Robbins. Also plan to mix in some blues and rockabilly, Carl Perkins, the Coasters 'Yakkity Yak', wow, got heaps of good up tempo stuff Also found a track called 'I'm my own Granpa' which Chad Morgan covered, but I have the orig US version. Very funny. Its tiger gollywogs party and he has invited about 500 people, should be fun.

Yeah when I was a kid,I rummaged through my dad's 78s and he had that song.

I used to always love playing it.

Good on you Smasha.

Good friend of mine who played in Big Deal and we became lasting mates,is going great guns in a band called Buchanan.

They won jjj best upcoming band.

I grabbed an Mx on the way to the city and they were in it.

Really happy for him.

They are going to the US and Europe soon.

I went to France and New York with him in a band called Valanti.

That's another story lol.
