It had to happen, has been woeful....

Id much rather a mobile combination ruck/fwd line of Maric, Griffiths and Ty....

Hooray, can't mark, can't kick, at least ty ,griffo ,maric have got some upside

Worse player I've seen.
The bloke that decided to bring this bloke to club should sack himself.
Even Greg Beck wouldn't have chased him, (maybe NOT)

Have a look at the hearld sun site. There is a photo of Hampson going for a mark, his hands are nowhere near the ball.
His blind, he needs a Labrador

Worse (sic) player you've seen? What .... worse than "the worst player to pull on a Richmond jumper you've seen in 40 years Zipper?" :hihi

Thank goodness he's been dropped. It's neck and neck between McMahon & Hampson as to the worst player ever recruited from another club in my 35 years of watching games.

And the VFL is where he should stay unless we lose Maric, Griff, Orren and Ty to injury.

Can't say that bringing in Vickery is much of a replacement between Hampson, Vickery & Griffiths we have the biggest bunch of hopeless teddy bears you've ever likely to see on a footy field. None of them deserve a game but we have to have some big blokes out there.

Disagree with the views he should be dropped. Has shouldered a huge load this season despite clearly having a knee concern. Pants Mumford, played well last week (if you ignore his goal kicking) whilst Maric was invisible in the first half and then got subs.

I will put it out there that Maric will be a disappointment and Hampson will replace him by year end.

I'm disappointed at the lack of support to a new tiger who we need in our future, come on guys get behind him

Largely talentless, Hampson is our best tall forward of half back. As it stands. Jack may be a freak but he is more like Nathan G. Brown than he is like Matthew Richardson. Ivan Maric can't walk. Griffiths is frightened - Tyrone Vickery is terrified.

Tall is a problem. Hampson may be bad but he has a team of talls below him.

Let's see subbed off twice in the last three weeks because of abysmal form and finally dropped. Yep we're on a winner here!

His tap work has proven of little advantage (and for what it's worth apart from ensuring that an opposition ruckman does not compete unopposed, I think it's an overrated element of the game anyhow) and he's play around the ground has ranged from non-existent to putrid.

But sure I'll get behind him, I'll cheer him on in the VFL where he belongs and hopefully will stay for the rest of his three year contract. As I've said before, a second round draft pick flushed down the toilet.

Played well against an inferior side in GWS where we began smashing them early - maybe a confidence thing?

Real shame this one hasn't turned out.

I would have preferred we paid a bit more and traded for McEvoy - an actual premium ruckman who can mark/handball/kick.

Why can you see it, but blokes that get paid come up with decisions in recruiting guys like him and Grigg?
He was a shocking player at Carlton (would've been delisted if not traded)
And where not the vest club turning players careers around either which doesn't help either.
He is dud, he needs to go

As I said earlier I reckon the RFC got him thinking they had the Midas touch in the success with Houli, Grigg, Maric, Morris (success that's come to a screeching halt btw) and that SH would suddenly stop being a highly deficient player and become a good one.

A shocking decision to recruit him and someone should be held to account for throwing the pick away. There was no win win with this trade.
