What a joke he was recruited. I have absolutely no faith in anyone from the club. They really are a bunch of idiots, the recruiting, overestimating of the list and individual duds like this bloke is astounding. Furthermore, they won't be smart enough to give games to blokes like helbig, bachelor, miles etc. Just play them all year, and can morris, newman, king, hampson to actually find out if these others step up. Stay down the bottom and use the year for something and get a few good draft picks.

Yes - Vickery is a hack - but if Ivan gets better then Ivan/Vickery is a far beter combo.
Credit where credit is due - Stephenson was named best on ground yesterday - surely he gates a call up if Hampson dropped (if!!!!!!)

Not even sad - tragic -given this and other contracts in the team - imagine if we get a new coach with some gonads - we will likely have the most expensive side running around in the VFL ever with Grigg, Houli, Hampson, Morris etc all with their papers marked but stuffing our recruiting for a couple of years.Sir said:Would be even funnier if it wasn't so so sad!!!

At least we now know Hampson is a ruckman only. Staggered he started at FF. He's poor overhead and an ordinary set shot.
Hopefully we don't make the mistake of playing he and Maric in the same side again. Vickery/Griffiths needs to be the relief ruck.
Where has Bullus gone, would be interested in his take on the Hampson trade now.
Any thoughts of Hampson/Maric working in tandem and spending extended periods in the forward line can be shelved.
You know you can't play when 70k people at the ground are simply laughing at you. Worst recruit I've seen in 35 years of going.

I say " I'll buy it off you, here's $15,000". I could have bought one from carsales for $5000. But I jumped at the first car I saw available. I ignored its history and paid far too much for it. I didn't do my due diligence and see what else was available.

I've seen enough. Hammer can be the VFL ruckman for the rest of his career or play only when Maric is unavailable.

Subbed him twice at half time when he was holding his own ,against the odds. Game against Dees Dimma subbed him half time & Dees Jamar & Co ran *smile* riot against TV & Griff. End result well you know that. as Dees got the four points.If they drop Hamper next week lambs to the slaughter against Goldstein & Co as Maric is not match fit.
