IF Shaun Hampson keeps running into his own teammates on an AFL field...
THEN...he might soon be running into his own teammates on a VFL field.

For a Journo he's a *smile* programmer

Was involved in two massive knocks during last week's game you may recall. We should thank him for running out the game. If he was playing in the EPL he would have been carried off.

Can't believe the 'lemon' call from the dud. :-\

Not sure how long you were watching before you came off the bench and started posting Axle but that is classic Dud. It is pretty much cut and paste with the safety scissors.

Can you be more specific in what you mean?

But this allows more development time for Griffiths the surprise improver of the year
If he stays healthy he could be anything, clean mark, long kick, moves well, taps ok too
Go Benny

Carlton used a higher pick for warnock, who handed us the game with that shank out of bounds and that shank to TV.

And then instead of desperately leaping at the ball as it came of tys foot - he held up his hands in bewilderment

Trent knoble part 2.
Couldn't believe they picked him up and didn't consider Mcevoy.
Need to start to target good footballers, not other clubs trash.
I wouldn't be surprised if Carlton would've delisted him if we didn't pick him up.
His no good

Thanks Zips saved me trawling through looking for this thread.

4 possessions in 91% game time. Dropped a Tom Derrickx like mark in the last quarter that cost us a near certain goal and gave the Scum one. 2 goal swing granted the game was dead.

Glad we paid pick 30ish for a recycled hack who couldn't get a game at his previous club. Awesome recruiting.

Gave the Tigers very little tonight, particularly around the ground.
He seems rather one-dimensional at the moment. If he wasn't fully fit then he should not have been selected.
Would love a ruckman who had strong around-the-ground attributes.

wouldn't every club. I'd love a maric in 2012 form at the least. hampson has nothing on him in around the ground efforts unfortunately

You're right about that BTT. Hampson may win plenty of knock-outs against the lesser ruckmen in the competition, but it is his apparent inability to assert himself at contests further afield that lessen his overall contribution to date.
Not sure Hampson has that sense of "fierce intent" that all the very good ruckmen seem to have.
Let's hope the Club is diligent in the manner in which Maric returns. It is vital that he is fully fit on returning so that he can assert himself on contests around the ground with his bullocking body work.

When you say that Hamster has no ability you misunderstand his failure on the night.

He could have done better. He was useless.

We can't afford to have anyone on the ground to not touch the ball. I can't stand ruckmen that just get games because of *smile* hit outs.
Grant thomas type ruckmen do not work in today's game
What the hell did they see in this bloke?

Thought he had a shocker last night.

Liked tapping backwards which is fine in non-greasy conditions but tapped it to the advantage of the opposition time after time.

Poor handballing skills too.

We are now seeing what blues supporters were saying all along.
