Competed with Nn until badly injured. Tried to play on as he did last week when injured against Crows, but could hardly walk. Or no-one here has eyesight, even bloody commentators said it for you.

Did you see Vickery's efforts in the ruck when he went off. Jack Dyer would be rolling in his grave; the most pathetic, chicken-sh!t pantomine of an AFL big man ever seen. So likes of Moore and Chaplin had to ruck instead.

Deeply ashamed to see this fraud wear a RFC jumper. Only we would select a big man who cannot jump more than 20cm off the ground and backed off in fear. Overall, our selection of big men is disastrous.

Have been a Vickery supporter but his efforts in the ruck were comical. Resigned to the fact he will never be a ruckman.

Hampson had a go. Need to get him right or find a sound replacement.

From the start of the season Hammer has borne the ruck load without Maric & no support whatsoever from Hardwcke in providing a back up ruckman. Hammer does not deserve to be put down like a horse & for Tiger supporters to do so is a *smile* disgrace. Play the ball not the man. Tigers a heap of absolute crap for the last thirty years due to the Management. Just go back & see the financial donuts who have ran Tigers for the last thirty years. Real household names ?. Never heard of them until they got the nod to Chair the once proud never say die Richmond Football club. Now we have the Peggy. Wonder how long before she pegs out of the Tiger dart board. Gale ,well do think Dimma got an extension because he came cheap.

Like the dark of the late 80's. Back patting players that had a sort of good game.
Hampson is a disaster. Maric is finished.
I remember there were quite of few people on here, who were keen us drafting Max Gawn

This.
Are his legs painted on?? Did nit Nat sneeze on him

Lucky he didnt play whole game. Might have been 3 disposals 15 clangers. In fairness though 4 of those clangers were frees against, most paid when he was already injured and trying to shepherd Natanui out in ruck contests.

Wonder if that dropped mark on his own constitutes a clanger.

I also wonder how you score his spoiling attempt on Lycett in the square early Q1.

As I said before the game you play Hampson you wave the white flag and that's exactly what we did in the first half.

No arguments from me. I'm not here to rewrite the clanger rules I was just stating why his official clanger count was so high.

Yep, no worries TL. Just wondering what his fifth clanger was seeing his disposal efficiency was a team high 100%. Whoooppee!!

How many bloody times do we have to play this stupid game with this D grade amateur?

Anyway, I expect the Hampson apologists to trot out the same excuses.

He's not an AFL footballer and he's an injury prone disaster. Why can't this just be seen for what it obviously is?

Never to play again (but I know we will)

That defensive effort in their goal square with no effort was deplorable.Wimped after that with a pathetic injury excuse.Looked horrible to me.

Vickery got us more clearances Leon. Hell Moore got us more clearances. Competing and hitouts mean jack $hit if the other side clear the ball. It is a concept you seem to struggle with.

Hampson rucked first half and we had 8 inside 50sand they had a gazillion largely attributable to his total ineptitude in all areas of the game.

The concept you seem to struggle with is that HOs are not the invariable determinant of clearances. Doing better in the 2nd half was due to the midfield team sharking more of their taps because Vickery hardly made any contest at all, just kind of backed off and scragged as they came down. Whereas Hampson did and was doing well on NN until injured. Yes, keeps dropping marks he must take, but was also harshly pinged by shocking umps who allow NN to get away with worse e.g. see the wrestle for the throw-in on the near-camera side, where NN tackles and grabs H who is the only player who goes for the ball. NN gets the free.

If you seriously think Shaun Hampson was a big factor in tonight's debacle, you cannot see the forest for the trees. The ineptitude of most of our players and their game-style caused it, second half was slight improvement due to more effectiveness from some, not the rucking of TV.

Just watched a video of him being interviewed on the RFC website after training yesterday.

The man doesn't have a clue. Asked if he had a tactic to counter NicNat he says "no" then makes some ridiculous comment about watching videos and seeing how other rucks beat NN and then try and copy that.

Then he bizarrely talks about having a big preseason so he's ready for NEXT YEAR! WTF?

Are you for real?

It's scary how the Hampson apologists seemingly live in another world.

Hampy: 1 kick. 1 tackle. 7 HOs. Gave away 4 frees.

NicNat: 16 disposals, 3 marks. 36 HOs.

Oh my godfather. i knew it was bad but not this bad. Those my friends are very scary stats indeed.

Obtained 7 HOs but was crippled with corkie early 2nd Q. At least jumped into their rucks rather than run away and avoided contact. Whole team was blitzed in first half and couldn't clear it past the centre or so out of our BL.

Umpiring was almost as atrocious as us, but Hampson got a raw deal on some infringements.

What world do you live in? Hampson played a quarter, bit of 2nd on one leg. NN full game. Did you even watch it? Got injured late last week but played tonight hoping to get through probably because Maric not ready yet, and there's no-one else.

Watch the video of him on the RFC website after training yesterday. Moved well and says himself he's feeling good and fit.
