Sam Lloyd

Thought Sammy did well with 1 goal and 17 touches but an increased level of determination.

Don’t think it was enough to save him from being dropped for Caddy though.

About right tt

I'll be keenly watching his pressure acts and tackles.

Then again if he kicks 5, all will be forgiven.

I'm still a fan. I reckon he's aty least as good as Le Cras.

Hope he has a big one.

will rotate middle and possibly up forward. Did not too much wrong v the hawks (8 kicks 9 handballs - 1 goal 0 points - 1 tackle). Serviceable but didnt make it too hard with better talent available. A very very good VFL player, needs to deliver more in the seniors - in a premiership side anyway. For me is just short of the tempo the seniors play to cement a regular spot. Tank has improved but not overly quick. Will have a role tonight - cant afford to have a quiet game.

No wonder we were so sh!t in 2016 after I found this surprising and little known fact in an article on 2016 pressure points:

"Forwards: Sam Lloyd's average of 9.8 pressure points a game in the forward line ranks No.51 in the AFL but No.1 at Richmond . As a group, the Tigers' forwards are ranked No.10 in the AFL with a pressure differential of -1.6 a game"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

**Note: In 2017 Rioli averaged 32.1 pressure points.

Getting back to tonight's game he will want more than 1 tackle Tiger Pops.

Kicks three n shares a couple more n he can fudge through with one tackle, as long as he remembers to chase n harass properly.
