No wonder we were so sh!t in 2016 after I found this surprising and little known fact in an article on 2016 pressure points:

"Forwards: Sam Lloyd's average of 9.8 pressure points a game in the forward line ranks No.51 in the AFL but No.1 at Richmond . As a group, the Tigers' forwards are ranked No.10 in the AFL with a pressure differential of -1.6 a game"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

**Note: In 2017 Rioli averaged 32.1 pressure points.

Doesn't seem right to me. How can your nbr 1 pressure forward only have 9.8 but your team still be 10th in the league and only -1.6 a game? I have a feeling the definition of pressure act may have changed.

Well done again Sammy. Kicks his 2 goals. Hope he retains his spot for the Pies game.

Thought he struggled with the pace a little but it's tough when you're in and out regularly. Definitely will give way for Caddy who provides just that little bit more.

Played pretty well but will still probably make way.

He is going to be dynamite at lower level when he finally gets delisted.

Can't have Lloydy, Caddy and Townser in the same team they are all lacking footspeed two yes three no, nothing against Sammy

Drop Towner then.

Sam is more than just a depth player but right now the competition for a place in the starting 22 is immense and the probable return of Caddy will mean he is likely to lose out as Caddy has a bit more upside

good on Sam. knows his place, happy to get on the park and kick a couple.

Brutal to think we even think about dropping him after that game, but we are, and he likely will be. Our depth is bloody good right now. Basically have a squad of 28, even 30 firsts players. Would have been a harder game if 4 or 5 of our seconds players played for them.

For that selfish play when he went for goal instead of hitting Bulter is enough for him to miss

It's a great position to be in - he is not best 22 but can come in and contribute - as someone said earlier, we now have a squad of 30 of which we know all can play.

He gets dropped for Caddy and I am not sure who goes out for Graham, maybe Higgins

Would you consider giving Butler a spell in the two's? He has not been as sure of himself so far this year, getting caught like a deer in headlights a lot. Just a thought as I know his role is important too.

When he took on those 2 smellbourne players and turned himself inside out and got caught was bad.
Might get away with that in VFL

yep, he just over kicked it.

I reckon he changed his mind mid-action.

just on the possibility of Lloydy getting dropped, I reckon he is on the up, so it will be brutal if he's dropped IMO.
