Must go. Getting to Hunt levels of ineffectiveness.

This. Reckon that was the worst individual game from a RFC player since the Hunt debacle in round 2 against Collingwood last year.

Lloyd was putrid today. Everything he touched turned to *smile*. He was that bad I reckon we would have won if he just sat on the bench the whole game.

Take your word for it easy. I had about 20 cans at the local footy that day and only got home at half time of the North game. Suffice to say my memory of that game is a little hazy :beer

But my memory of today's game is clear as a bell unfortunately.

Was far from out worst. A goal, should have been two and 2 goal assists. At least was getting the ball unlike a 4 disposal player or two.

20 touches playing high half forward, 2 goals assists and 1.1.

People want to target many more before players in our 15-222 bracket.

Not the player he was last year. Not near it.

Punching well above his weight this year, with no second tall forward. he was at his best last year with Griff or Ty as second tall, third mid size is Sam's go.

there was about 4 or 5 times when he turned it over in what should have been gilt-edged attacks from half back after we'd worked hard to win the ball back. Real killer turnovers that just shouldn't have happened.

Correct. Some turn overs really hurt you and his seem to extract maximum impact.
At one stage he took a mark at half back, ignored a player further down the wing, stopped looked inboard and kicked it straight to a Swan in the middle of the ground who scored a goal. Decision making and poor skill level like that lost us the game.

He butchered it all game Tim. Absolutely butchered it.

Playing too high up the ground IMO. He's been pushed out of F50 because I think Dimma has gone too overboard with the small forwards. We had 5 players in Lloyd, Castagna, Butler, Bolton and Rioli who are all small forwards. I like Rioli through the middle but not there yet. Potentially add Edwards too. We've gone too far with the smalls. He either needs to be played closer to goal or not at all as he's not a midfielder and his field kicking is not good enough.

Agree with this. Needs to play as a 'small' key forward leading out of the goal square or not at all. His lack of pace is a liability further up the ground.

A nothing player that wouldn't get near it at any other club. Only at Richmond.

Don't agree. He's a good small forward and needs to be played there. He isn't (and never will be) a player that can roll through the midfield. Dumb decision to play him there. Its killing us playing him up the ground and Castagna in the F50. We've got a poor field kick up the ground and a poor kick for goal in the F50. Play Lloyd in the F50 and he might just kick the goals that we need to see these games out.
