Sam Lloyd

How do we feel Lloyd went?

I thought he struggled with the pace of the game. Took that good mark bit everything else was underwhelming

The GWS defenders burnt him for pace. I lost count how many times they were able scramble the ball out.
He was non effective. Too slow

We got similar to last year, 3 scoring shots from 13 possessions. The 2 behinds I think we at best half chances. I like having a forward near goals that just knows where they are which is why I like Lloyd. That handball over the top for Menadues goal though, wow, any chance you can bring it down to a 2 storey building!!

i like him. Provided a hit up target a few times that we severely lacked with Elton recently.

Our forward line was pretty crowded this week. More space he scores more goals,

Definitely best 22 for mine.

Struggles a bit under the new forward structure. If we're not looking to trade him, he might be casting his eye about. There are plenty of clubs he'd get a game with and do OK.

Dimma has to persevere with Sammy, he gives us a goal a game.

But I fear that as soon as Sam plays anything remotely sub par he,ll get the flick again.

with our tall crisis, Sam needs to play tall.

Clunk a few (which he can), kick a couple, and draw a taller defender.

He couldn't keep up.
Got a lot of his possies in the back half late.

If the selectors decide to go uber speed and pressure he could go out for Stengle.

He was no worse or better than other small forwards. A couple of things didn't go his way tonight. Had more tackles than the other forwards. Persist with him.

Not the player he was last year. Doesn't have the same strut and confidence

Drop him for Lennon. We have enough pace surrounding Lennon now. The only viable 2nd tall option we've got left. Plus he's better above his head and can use the ball.

Shadow of his former self. Too slow for the current gameplan? Lost confidence? Will make way for Lennon next.week

Shai Rioli Butler and co force him to push up the ground. Lloyd is a below average player anywhere out of f50. He can't play to his strengths anymore.

I'd be making the change with Lennon. He's a better lead up option.

It's not that Lloyd looks slow at AFL level. He does. But the problem this year is that he looks small. He can't get near it. When you're at he ground you can see we're a man down.

If McRae pumps up Lenon he might be next in line but given our forward shape and the need for pace I think Towner has to get a go.
