Sam Lloyd

Keep investing in Lloyd and let's see what he's got to offer. It's obvious that he likes the opportunity to perform on the big stage. He has confidence and he does back his ability.
Maybe over time he might become a regular X-factor in games.
But tonight Lloyd is in the pantheons of legend status.
Thanks for the joy tonight, Sammy

Too right. :hihi

Why? I love Lloydy. Footy smarts, great finishing skills, natural forward.

Amazing what they can do when given a chance. Maybe we should add some more?

Good to see Beanie loving Lloydy too!

Wonder why he only had 66% game time, lowest for the Tigers.

The rested him for that shot.
* none else in that side wouldve kicked that goal. Even Jack

He's defiantly working harder an pushing harder up to the ball carrier, not sure his normal time but they maybe using him more as burst impact player ?

The number one pick leysy would have to take that kick.

Never ever understood all the doubters considering our weakness in that area.

Crazy.
Wasn't a bad effort from a journeyman bush footballer.

Bloke knows how to play small forward n knows where the goals live that's for sure.
Doesn't hurt when we actually get the ball cleanly into our forward half either, makes it easier for our bigger forwards to have a crack at the aerial contest n the little buggers feed at their feet during a game.

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOYD!

We have all kicked a goal in the backyard to win a game of footy after the siren. To do it at the G was simply amazing.

The great thing about the goal was that it never looked like doing anything other than going straight through the middle. Sam said it was the only good kick he had all night.

Will remember that kick and win for a long time.

And Lloyd will always be remembered in footy circles for that. Congrats to him. And we'll done in making our weekend.

I reckon we all knew he would kick it.

If you were to nominate one Richmond player to be in that position, it would be Lloyd.

Reminded me of the night Michael Bevan hit a 4 off the last ball to win against the Windies all those years ago.
Different obviously but same sensation. Sport is brilliant when it's down to the wire like that.
