Keeping Lennon out of the seniors. Would he do worse?

Based on career average yes, Lloyd has more disposals (11.7 to 10.2), goals (1.3/0.4), tackles (2,7/0.9), contested possessions (4.9/3.4). Im not sure they are exact like for like position wise either. To me Lennon has a bit more poise and more suited a bit further up the ground whereas Lloyd is your typical goal sneak.

I like him, easily our best and most dangerous small forward

While I hope Rioli catches up to him pretty soon, I reckon Sammy is just this here and now. Add the fact he is often played up the ground, removing him from where he causes the most damage, he is going along better than most RFC players atm.

But Mt Eliza and Frankston are.
Deniliquin comes up because before being selected by Richmond kicking 100 goals in a season as a small forward for them was Lloyd's claim to fame. We kind of have to keep him until we can develop another small forward, but he's a journeyman footballer who has been lucky enough to have a run at AFL level.

Gee whiz, this kid is making me eat humble pie, very very slowly. If it's as sweet as tonight though, I'll enjoy every bite.

He's a quality player. They left him forward tonight instead of dabbling with midfield time. And that's where he should stay. He knows where the goals are. Instrumental in our win tonight.

Has been a bright spot this year, deserved to be there for the special kick.

Stepping out of Gordon's shadow...

I said if he played 22 games he'd kick 30 goals.

15 from 8 games so far.
