Saw this on FB

Sam Lloyd is expected to stay at the Tigers, in spite of interest from the Bulldogs.

Jon Ralph from the HS reported that "he’d be happy to stay at the club next year, not on massive coin, he just loves them.”

My respect and admiration would increase even more if that's true, he's a good player.

I'd be surprised if Miles didn't go to another club this year. Mind you if he doesn't I reckon he gets delisted anyway.

In any case I would love Lloyd to stay with us regardless. He is the type of player that will do what is required to remain valid. This year he has focussed on moving into the midfield and has done so with excellent results

If Dimma wants another rotation through the midfield I reckon Lloyd, with another pre-season, will be able to put his hand up.

Particularly if Miles, and Conca, depart as has been reported ad nauseum.

Got himself super fit last pre-season, if he does some sprint training next pre-season and can find half a yard he could get a regular game and be a good contributor.

And he loves being at the club and will do whatever he is asked so that he can contribute to the team

unless he got offered significant money elsewhere, why would he leave? we're still in our window and he's in our best 25. If we cop an injury tomorrow night (*touching wood*), he could be in next week.

I have really been impressed with Lloyd the few games that he has played in the 1s'. He always shows great composure and good foot skills. Earlier this year, I can't remember which game it was, but there was a game where most of the Richmond players seemed to want to hit bullet passes to the forward line. The first came off, but the rest were rubbish. In the second half it was Lloyd who calmly hit 2 normal easier passes with touch to the forwards, which seemed to get the rest of the team to do the same.

To top it off, he seems like a really good bloke too. Very happy he is staying.
