It’s just about done. He’ll be at the Dogs.

Conca, Lloyd, Miles, Ellis & Menadue gone.

Big chunk of depth if they all go.
Whispers are the Cats and GC going hard for him. Lloyd that is.

Lloyd is quality. I can see the others leaving but not him.
He is very unlucky not to be in the senior team.
I would off load moore and keep lloyd

If we state we will match and Conca wants to go then it becomes a trade. Pick 19 would be OK

Wishful thinking. Won't get anywhere near Pick 19 for Conca. Better to keep him as depth player.

He's unrestricted, we don't have any option to match if he wants to leave.

Haven't heard anything regarding Menadue - where's he off too Scoop?

. If we sign Lynch we won't get anything

Not true. We get the value of Conca minus the value of Lynch. I would expect a 2nd rounder if we sign Lynch. A 1st rd if we dont.

He's in a similar situation to Miles. Better than VFL, but only a stop gap measure for us. The arrival of Lynch won't make life any easier for him.

Your mail is pretty good usually, so I believe you. but Conca is a surprise for mine. the club has persisted with him for a long time and is now in our best 22.

A few players at Willy including the joint Liston winner that are much cheaper and just as good
What about ex-Collingwood player, Jye Bolton? Just won his second Sandover medal in a row, playing with Claremont in the WAFL. Apparently really wants another shot at the AFL.

I think Jye might be going down the same path as Chris Cain did a few years ago.

Unfortunately it looks as though we're going to lose a fair bit of our depth this summer, of all of them I'd want to hold onto Lloyd as i think he's good enough to be in our best 22 now Still, exciting times when drafting a raft of new midfield talent to replace them

We cannot hold on to them, well at least not most of them. Salary cap pressure will always work in needing to free up space for future deals.

Also we need to be fair to Miles and Lloyd to allow them to get more AFL first 22 opportunities elsewhere and help maximise their earnings.

So you reckon not quite good enough to make it at AFL level tim? Even as a depth midfielder?
I reckon he’d be good enough at AFL level but I’d be guessing if an AFL club hasn’t given him a chance after WAFL career he’s had so far I’m not sure what’s changed that’d make them draft him come November.

He won a Sandover in 2016 and no one took a chance so I’m not sure what winning a second changes.

But I hope he gets another go.

Saw this on FB

Sam Lloyd is expected to stay at the Tigers, in spite of interest from the Bulldogs.

Jon Ralph from the HS reported that "he’d be happy to stay at the club next year, not on massive coin, he just loves them.”
