Really? I keep hearing this arguement but who around those picks (12 & 16) in that draft has proven to be a decent player?
Seems to me the Cats read the (weak) draft much better than us and were more than happy to part with those picks for a player with talent.

Post 16 - Le Cras and Van Berlo
Post 12 - Monfries

I also think ruck is the most important position in finals though not by much.

Post 16 - Le Cras and Van Berlo
Post 12 - Monfries

I also think ruck is the most important position in finals though not by much.

Could have picked up Le Cras and Van Berlo later in the draft, Monfries is the best player in the teens but that just backs up how weak it was.
