Round 23 road works when you are running late games

One thing Adelaide are great at is whinging and Complaining. We all remember how they soiled it up after the 2017 grand final loss.
Expect tears and a call for the game to be reviewed
Are they going on a camp again and sing kumbaya

Well they can’t criticise the Arc technology cause, you know, one of their own boys club members own the dam thing - no idea Eddie, Eddie past his useby date.

The AFL is still an country football club, run by a boys club and they won’t fix the technology cause they don’t understand the need for proper governance, due process are all foreign ideas to them.

Just look at how easily and quickly they can knee jerk changes to the rules for example.

Well the Arc has now cost a team a place in the 8 and a team a win in an elimination final - who’s next.

A mistake like this has cost the Crows a likely finals berth as they have the Eagles in the last round. The goal umpire should be sacked or suspended for all finals series games. A CLEAR GOAL, how the heck could he miss this. The 2nd video is as clear as day.

Just shows, once again, for the umpteenth time, how pathetically dumb and stupid these green flogs are.

From the Ahole FL website.....as pathetic as these bureaucrats are and continue to be, the result stands....STAND!!!
Looks like the goal flog was another Corn Flakes packet recruit.

Not just the fact that he got it wrong, but to not ask for a review was a terrible mistake
Their review process is wrong.

I believe they only review if it’s called for , a goal??? Someone call clarify this!

I thought it was for all scores. Especially for ones ‘such as this one’ which obviously was questionable.

Will cost Adelaide a finals berth.

Classy response by Nicks.

I have been to a Richmond game a couple of weeks ago, the point went through for a point and it was marked on the line. They reviewed for the point even though it was a clear mark.
I think it's for any score they can review.

Scapegoat.
Fortunately as I said 70 secs left on the clock and not on the siren.

Billion dollar industry making amateurish mistakes.

Correct. There was on last week to determine if the ball hit the point post before going through which would have meant no score.

A tiger mate just texted me, was listening to a discussion on radio, someone said, IMAGINE IF THIS HAPPENED IN A FINAL!

Review ‘every score’ is Waiting’s view!

Don’t think it is Halsey.

Just ‘decisions’ such as above that you stated.

Mistakes by goal umpire, field, ARC and the system/process.

4 areas.

Amateur.

World Cup Soccer showed us how far ahead they are to our code.

Put the money into the technology and fix the process.

Don’t be ‘tight arses’.

Even if they come out and say it’s a mistake that does nothing. They can’t reverse the result of the match, and we know they’re not going to take steps to improve the technology or the process, so why bother? The best thing they can do is get rid of the entire process and accept that people occasionally make mistakes.

Didnt they subsequently correct result with a time-clock failure dockers v saints?? Game a few years ago?

Don’t you love how defenders trying to spoil a shot at goal do sparkle fingers with the hand near the ball and also make sure that the other hand slaps the goal post if they are near it?

Mills clearly slapped the post with his left hand to make sure that the ARC picked up a noise.

This system is about as tecky tecky as my long- deceased Sicilian Grandfather’s trusty shovel.

Throwing the goal umpire under the bus shows you everything that is wrong.

This is a failure of leadership.

Ohh hang on they haven’t appointed a football boss and the current CEO is still the previous CEO or something.

They followed their process. Can’t imagine how in depth the thought processes are.

Boss So if they kick a goal we review them all right.
Sycophant 1 Yep.
Boss And if they kick a behind we only review it if the goal umpire who made the call isn’t sure. Right.
Sycophant 2 Yep.
Boss. And we as leadership have told the umpires to back in their decisions right.
Sycophant 1 Yep.
Boss Ok all good - can’t see anything that can go wrong there.
Intern should we check what other codes do to see if we can learn anything?
Boss time for the next meeting
Boss (after meeting). Who was that person asking questions? How do they think this works. Get rid of them.
Sycophant 2. Yes boss.
