Round 2: The garlic Uber ride games.

When I watch games like this it reinforces for me how wrong it is that the stand rule has killed our game style.

All of the elements are there, quick transition, dirty, forced ball forward, intensity of pressure and unrelenting commitment to a system.

That game style is still available, you just have to have the intensity to action it.
That is fair.

It’s still a *smile* rule though.

*smile* me, has anyone on this forum ever had a positive thought about anything?

I genuinely wonder why so many people follow a game they seem to hate so much.
As you are a self confessed contrarian, I guess that means

1. the rest of us think we are pretty positive about everything
2. the rest of us aren’t wondering why we follow a game we love

Can't get more boring than the Skunks. Tunnel vision game plan that won't last 23 weeks.

Not sure Port are playing all that badly here, Collingwood is just irrepressible.

At this rate Collingwood will win the flag by 16 goals and Nick Daicos will win the Brownlow by 20 votes.

Lucky it is only round 2.

I have to say the Pie's are looking good, quick, dynamic, high pressure and dangerous forward, not looking forward to facing them in this form.

Nah they are terrible. Either win your own ball or stuff off.

Wouldn’t it be great to stop Collingwood in their tracks next week.

I’m generally a McRae fan but I’m a bit over him at the minute
Same here Carts. This is just like 5 year olds running around your ankles.

I assume cornes will get into this insipid performance from port.

The best result that can happen from here is a huge Port comeback in the second half.

Just gain free kick advantage and you've got a win. 18-11 for Skunks.
