Round 2: The garlic Uber ride games.

I tell you what, the umpires really showed just how *smile* soft they are in the last minute by not calling the multiple free kicks that were clearly there.

Geez, if Brisbane miss top 4 or any other spot on the ladder as a result of percentage this farce will be brought up. Of course, the AFL will just sweep everything under the carpet but still, what a farce.

if that game wasn't being televised free to air I doubt it would have gone back on

I have noticed especially over the last 3-4 years the football media from the game commentators to foxtel and the football shows in between its just full of shiit non stop. Off the back of 1 practice match and a game against a side they just have the wood. Melbourne could go on and not drop a game this season.
It was Melbourne premiership and the rest were making up the numbers. Scroll down a week later they shouldve lost by 10 goals. There 2nd qtr was Hawthorn quality. This year's premiership winner will come from a side that puts the best last 2 months of the season together.
I reckon a side in the top 6 side will win the flag. So it's important Hardwick dosent leave our run too late like last year. Top 4 we will go close.
Top 6 60% top 8 20%

Goodwin says 'no questions on gawn - we dont want his family sitting home thinking hes done his knee (ACL)'

If ACL's take a minute to rule out,

Logic dicates if Goodwin doesnt want his family sitting home thinking hes done an ACL,

He says

'He hasnt done his ACL'

I suspect gawny, and the Dees,

Are done.

Hmm, Ludlum carked it in 2001, so I'm guessin this Jimmy Fevola bloke got hold of a bunch of Ludlum's draft work polished it up a bit then released it as a Ludlum novel to ensure sales numbers n profits for everyone.

Have read a couple of other novels where another writer has ghosted a deceased authors draft notes, never quite came up to scratch when done this way.
It is quite a common practice now TM.
So many authors who have gone to God have other writers taking up the reins, but using the same characters.
Vince Flynn died of cancer some years ago but his character of Mitch Rapp still happens under a different author.
Not quite as invincible as he was under Flynn though.

This has been one of the most entertaining threads I have read for years - I tuned into the game mid 3rd term for about 15 mins and found the game boring so moved on to something else. To come back this morning and read the back end of this thread without seeing the result is a classic, it’s hilarious.

The Bears might as well be called Norf Port Flopelaide for their reliance on the AFL teat and their weak diving for frees in front of their rabid ignorants. Zorko, Daniher, Ashcroft (is it wrong that I kinda sorta not really but a little bit want his jaw broken to justify the thousands of bullsh*t frees he's going to milk over his career?), and sadly, Zac Bailey, a player I really like who was throwing himself onto the ground like some kind of Folding Cerra last night. Dishonest football team with a massive home advantage. False flag pretenders. But you don't want to play a final at the Gabba. Shame they won.

Well, they (Brisbane) benefitted from a farce last year in the Elimination Final, so…..

*smile* me, has anyone on this forum ever had a positive thought about anything?

I genuinely wonder why so many people follow a game they seem to hate so much.
It’s a fan forum bantering and talking *smile* about footy TBR.

We aren’t trying to win a Walkley award.

Hey I take offence to that.

I was very positive when BT's mic stopped working.

Wouldn't you think footy 'fans' would actually like the game? This place has become 90% negative viewpoints.

TBR needs to move on I think.

Think I agree, reading the first few threads from the past couple of weeks is actually depressing.

Although the irony of posters who make 20 consecutive posts bagging everything, then call Chris Scott 'salty' is a balancing bit of amusement.
