Round 2 - changes to the team. Richmond v GWS

History suggests Hardwick wont make drastic changes. Although as mentioned previously I would like to see a couple of players dropped I can only see the injured players repalced.

Macintosh will come in and then probably one more to cover Riewoldt. Gut feel says Ralphsmith will come into the 22 instead of being sub.

Raaaaalllph absolutely butchered some crucial ball under no pressure on a couple of occasions, cost us vital goals. If the magoos hadn't got totally slaughtered last week, I doubt he'd get another senior run for a bit.

At a minimum there should be 3 changes Prestia (inj) Riewoldt (inj) FAarts (not AFL standard)

Ralphsmith had 2 turnovers from his 10 disposals and those 2 turnovers did not result in goals to Carlton, we were going into our fwd 50 which one obvious turnover went straight to a blues player and yes a chance to goal lost, but gee he wasn't the only one who missed targets going into fwd 50
Overall he had 70% DE and compare that to Cotchin 36% DE

Jack Ross had 3 turnovers in the last in the back half which resulted in 2 goals to the opposition
Jack Graham responsible for 2 goals by two 50 meter penalties, that's unforgivable by a senior experienced player

No I am not sure if training was today? being a Sunday game I am guessing main training will be Friday and the other session maybe tomorrow?

According to Peter Burge ik sounds like they are sticking to regular training days? despite it being a Sunday game, he made mention of Kamdyn having to get through training THURSDAY so i'll have to pop by and check out KMac, Nank, Shai and Dusty to see if they all look likely, the last 3 just a few whispers but are probably fine.

No matter who it is , nobody can ever be allowed to accept a 14 touch game at 36% disposal efficiency, that's a all time hiding bad game.

This is what I had been worrying about all pre-season with Hugo, has not been hitting targets into the forward line all pre-season. It is one thing for a no-name hack like me to be reporting it, but when Dimma goes on a live podcast and says Hugo's kicking/disposal has been a bit off this pre-season then there is obviously something to it.
Saying it is "off" may indicate that in previous seasons it may have been on? in which case I am still waiting for it to be rectified?

Cotch is a proud man. He will be very disappointed with last week and will want to make up for it this week.

Those two butchered efforts should have been rolled gold goals to us and at times we needed them. Like the way Raaaaalllph plays footy, but he was already the fringie as medical sub. Stuffing up both those those opportunities would stick under the coaches noses.
Cotch plays inside grunt rather than outside loose so DE isn't expected to be great, but yep he was fairly bloody ordinary. After struggling last year it's more than likely that this year is more farewell tour than anything by the Cotch, sadly I'm probably expecting more in the way of cameos rather than centre stage.
Ross is one of a large raft of players that either ain't polished with the pill or simply don't take sufficient care with their usage and that poor outside usage is a massive worry.
Jack's 50's are part of a deep n lingering team malaise that's been growing over the last 3 or 4 years n Dimma needs to stomp on it n carve it out big time. One or two a game is stupid seven or eight is *smile* pathetic.

Worst thing is that our magoos got slaughtered with a heap of senior experienced blokes playing. Aside from the necessary injury replacements there's probably no-one else deserving of a senior game.

Was that extra 50m incident in 2020? I reckon it's been cold shoulders since between him and Dimma.
And did Dimma say in Thursday nights presser, that Graham just made a silly mistake and then he laughed I
It off. Would suggest that caddy was already on the outer. Yeah, Dimma plays his favs…..how else do you explain George being a constant since 2017.

I agree but if you look at the missed opportunities in the 1st quarter by Riewoldt, Lynch, Castagna and Aarts that should stick under the coaches noses more. Senior players with set shots and fatigue not a factor. We had the chance to blow them away and did not take it.

This week is a big game tbh.

Massive. Will be a very strong indicator of whether we have fallen off the cliff or hanging on for another year. If we can't beat GWS, sans Green, even with our injuries, at the G, I think I will know which way we are heading

Might also make the ideas of coming to the RFC a less enticing one for the other Green if the RFC is still after him.

The next few of weeks will indeed show us a lot even over a small sample size.

Just installed the new Tiger app and it said this is my seat for next game. Is that an actual seat or just General admission? Anyone know? Thanks.
