Carlscum had a *smile* load of opportunities to put us away before the last qtr. Think they had four posters for the night. 31 scoring shots to 21 paints a far more accurate picture than anything else. They smacked us inside and outside, entire game could have been very ugly instead of just the last 20 minutes.
Must be restricting seating areas because the caterers have got no staff. Wouldn't be expecting more than 40,000 to turn up at best.

But again, the scoring shot differential blew out in the final quarter. At 3 quarter time, scoring shots were 19 each. The final quarter was an aberration.
They were a bit unlucky with a couple of the posters, but the 2 that Silvagni had were tough shots from the pocket, they were very good kicks, not poor ones for those posters.
I do agree on the 1st quarter though. We were 4.5 at quarter time versus 1.3 highlighting how dominating that 1st quarter was before Prestia was injured. Had we gone in at quarter time as we should have, based on the shots we missed, we might have been 6.3 or 7.2, that makes the game totally different if we go into quarter time ahead by 30-40 points instead of 20, then the game most likely would have been different as Carlton would have got desperate at times IMO.

EDIT: However based on how many injuries to key players we've continued to cop ever since Rance went down Round one 2019, I'm sure there has been a game even more recently.
