Round 18: the 3 putt triple bogey games.

The filth have lost 3 games in a row, love it

Had they lost to North which they should've after being 54 points down they would be 2 games out of the 8 now and doubt they would make it with that run home. Their % is also low 102.9

Their last 6 games.

Yep they've been challenging for flags during the past 20 years and are still going strong whereas we've fallen flat after just a few years.
Just a few years? Jesus christ, Should have got FOF, they would have kept us in perpetual premierships. Its like some people prefer us being down so they can lay the boots in.

Two words - Stephen Wells.

Said it for a decade or more on here.

How was Lawson Humphries. Found him with the second last pick in last years draft. A mature ager kicking around with Swan Districts reserves lol.

23 possessions @95% and 13 marks tonight in game 3.

Genius!!

Harry wtf we have ‘fallen flat after just a few years’ - 3 premierships.
Saints only ever won 1, Bulldogs 2 - or are you taking the p1ss
We were legitimate flag challengers from 17 to 20 and fortunately won 3 flags. The cats have been challenging from 07 to current and still going strong while we may have to see a 10 year rebuild.

Yep. And as much as we all hate Salty Scott you have to admit he's a bloody good coach who can get his team up consistently.

Yes played GF in the 2’s at Swan District quite amazing really wtf are they doing at Swan Districts…!
Early days but yeah Mad Tiggy makes a great point about Cats synergy and system. Let’s face it Towner was no superstar nor Jack Graham in his 5th game but our synergy and confidence was off the charts - also Cats have zero injuries all year less Guthrie and little bit of Dangerfield makes hell of a difference so new player comes in and it just works
But are they winning flags - not really….????!!!

Fortunately? No such thing. I am dirty on Dimma for his rubbish coaching in 2016 wasted a year but 2014,2015 we doing same same as Cats have been doing?? Therea bouts but not really gunna win it..?

Having the same coach for 13 years helps.
Funny how he isn't exhausted after all these years but Dimma just couldn't go on anymore as he was just completely spent........oh hang on.....he is still coaching......must of been a burst(bag) of energy(money)

Fortunately as in it was good that we won 3 while in the window as many teams don't seize the opportunity while being on top. Not fortunately as in lucky to win them, as we were the best team.

The unit trust and faith dissolved after the 2020 hub carry on.

The joint fell away from thereafter, Hardwick popped the balloon.

We still had the team good enough to go for one more, but the connection was lost.

The Bums have given up. Heh heh heh....
Boooooooooo ! But don't you just love how they loudly boo any decision that doesn't go their way ... until they go all quiet totally when they finally realise "Game Over!" :p

Giants should beat Tigers & Lions should beat Eagles. That will put Pies a game and percentage outside the 8. I reckon Hawks will roll them. Pity they didn't lose 1 of their draws or 3 x 6-point ball game wins.

Some Pie supporters are calling for coach to be sacked.

Always a great read this thread Saturday morning and the good thing about it, you don't have to watch any footy (remember that great game) or listen to the CH7 goon squad (very good that one, Richo your a part of this). Bit of a lovefest for Geelong with a couple of posters on here too, must admit seen a couple of highlights and Dangerfield is still the master of kicking the 50 metre point.

Reckon I watched a couple of quarters of last nights’ game. Was pretty ordinary / boring. Switched to cunk on earth and was way better.
