Round 13: the IBS games. Pffffft. (Literally).

Can’t survive this.
I know they like to stick fat - they’re a pretty solid club mostly - but this is ridiculous.

I don’t care about their outs. This team has lost its desire completely and has been going through the motions for 2.5 years now.

If the Crows stay on 4 all 4 quarters they should kick 200 points tonight. Only way they don't is if they put the cue in the rack. Game was won after 10 mins.

Can't work out how McLuggage got knocked out, but as he gets up and walks, Ol Fages decides to break the Dorks' momentum by making McLuggage walk OOB around the ground to get off instead of using the stretcher car.
The tackle from Sicily looked a good one, but somehow he ended up with his neck in a strange position and his head on the turf. Not sure how though as the tackle from Sicily looked good.

What scares these Paddle Pops of this ground? Strange.

They can impress through a season as much as they like, but they'll never win a flag if they're scared of this ground.

I thought their effort and work rate was shocking today. Whether they thought they could just turn up and win I don't know but I thought their attitude seemed before.

Even players like Zac Bailey who always seems to run hard, he seemed to refuse to chase a number of times today.

Sicily tackled him by the hips/waist, barely held him in fact, and it looks more accidental that McLuggage fell on his head as he was sandwiched by another Dorks player.

Yep, just look at Joe playing the Goose again and wait for the ball. Just lazy from the Paddle Pops.

The excuses for WCE went out the door 2 years ago yet here we still are. It’s one thing to get beaten every week - which is bad enough - but they are getting humiliated each week.

There is no way they they are as bad as 10 goal losses every week.

They’re not even trying. They’ve got zero interest.
Checked out in 2020 after they were forced out of fortress Perth.

And have failed to check back in.

Tanking gonna milk it to try for priority picks its nailed on.

As much as WCE has checked out, look at the injuries they've had during the past 2 years. Look at their backline for this game (worst ever?) and it will somewhat explain their plight.

Thought similar but some bozo on Fox still saying it could be high or severe impact. I didn't see what more he could do, as you say he tackled by the waist and the arms weren't pinned, it was difficult to see how much he hit Brockman who came through and if this turned his body a bit that pushed his head and neck into the position, but if Butler got banned for that tackle on Thursday which was a joke, Sicily could sent straight to the tribunal for all we know. No-one knows whats acceptable anymore unfortunately.

Yeah Joes a good example of a player believing their own *smile*. He seems to think he's the GOAT or something.

There's a lot of unlikeable people at the Lions and I think a lot stems from the coach. Acts like the game owes him something IMO and thinks everything will just work for him, no surprise therefore that the players have the same mentality.

Blandbane are a bunch of self interested individuals. No team collective - which gets exposed on the road when you need to come together, get tough, and grind it out sometimes.

They like to play on top of the ground in front of a home crowd in warm weather with Maria Carey, Backstreet Boys and John Denver blaring.

They’re good when they’re banging out John Denver on a warm Friday night.

Never rated Blandbane. Ever.

Bloody hell. They’re 90 points down with 7 minutes still left in the 3rd quarter.

Make it stop. Mercy rule. Anything.

Ffs. Someone tell Nicks to play with 12 players so they have a chance to keep it under 80 points.

If Nicks has brains, best to slow his players down to avoid any injury and go through the motions.

This is bloody stupid from the league. Just stop their season and let the oppos gain 4 points.

One of the best if not the best forward lines in the comp v the worst defence right now explains the outcome. Premierships are won with a strong defence and wooden spoons are won with a weak one.

We're going sh!t with our injuries, but still survive and bust our gut. WTF have this team done with strength and conditioning??

Any investigation by the AFL for this?

Yet the Tigers struggled to get over the Eagles at the MCG by what 6 odd goals after every other side is belting the crap out of them.
