Round 13: the IBS games. Pffffft. (Literally).

I’ve always maintained that the Dogs are perennial pretenders as they simply cannot contain the big power forwards of the competition.

Power were prepared to off load Powell Pepper for a 3rd rounder to WC last year.
He plays at 100kms a hour and he isn't scared to put his body on the line.
Not the worse option if he wants to leave.
Think we offered Port a second round pick about 3 years ago

Footscary are such a stupid dumb football club.
They get quality Fs every 2nd year.
They draft quality Bompmytelly Naughton McCrae Smith Dale English but there recruiting is the worse when it comes to players from other clubs,
Lobb, Corzier, Baker, Bruce, Obrein, Hannan,
That's shocking.
The only player that is good was Dyryea the rest are shiit.

Weird mob are the dogs. On paper, their list appears stacked with serious talent across every line. Their recruiting team appears to be top-tier too, finding great talent year after year. They are also lucky, maybe the luckiest club in recruiting terms in the last decade having been gifted a number one pick in Ugle-Hagen via the *smile* academy zones or whatever, then again the following year with Darcy as a father son.

Yet despite all this, the whole does not equal the sum of the parts. Sure they have moments where they get it together (even won a premiership during one of those brief patches) but overall they under perform and consistently so.

From the outside, I’d be looking very hard at their coach who appears to have underachieved.

The Dogs losing to Port was the better result for us, the Paper Baggers beating the Bongers wouldn't go astray either.

Yeh, they have a crap defence. Jones a good addition but Keath is very poor. And they get beat the same way all the time. Bevo is a very average coach.

That nothing shepherd cost the Dogs. These 4 useless flogs are costing teams possible wins week in week out.
Bullshot. Thats a free every time. No eyes for the ball and taking out a player going for it. Very obvious and straight forward free.

Something has been percolating in the back of my noggin for a couple of years

And I’ve only just worked out

That Cody Weightman is the most smackable bloke in the AFL
My favourite Carter post ever. Just another disingenous footballer at that shithole club.

JHF - wow. Did some incredible stuff for a 19 yr old. What a jet.

That trade may end up the greatest trade win-win in the history of the AFL?

Effectively JHF for Wardlaw-Sheezel?

@ Geelong, The Naish miss??
That season does my head in. Top 4 (at a stretch) turned to 9th. 117 per cent. Plus the hawthorn Melbourne 1 point loss to also put us out of top 8. (Attended all 3 of those 1 point misses).

And it wasn’t one naish miss. The one on the siren and also the one where he got his head ripped off 30 seconds earlier 10m out.

Essendon’s formline is way worse than it looks. I’m expecting a four to five goal blues win but we will see.

North shot themselves in the foot
Richmond shot themselves in the foot multiple times
Melbourne had most of their best 6 out
