Round 13: the IBS games. Pffffft. (Literally).

I know they like to stick fat - they’re a pretty solid club mostly - but this is ridiculous.

I don’t care about their outs. This team has lost its desire completely and has been going through the motions for 2.5 years now.
They haven't been the same since rhey were the only West Australians who had to live outside their borders in 2020

I reckon is the modern way of tackling and pinning arms. You used to tackle the hips/waist . Just my guess.
This is correct. And despite what we say about the old days they may have been tough but they were know where near as strong as today's players. Can strengthen every other part of the body but not the skull or the mush inside. Not so relevant to tackle injuries but the higher average speed of today's players make the collisions harder.

Weird mob are the dogs. On paper, their list appears stacked with serious talent across every line. Their recruiting team appears to be top-tier too, finding great talent year after year. They are also lucky, maybe the luckiest club in recruiting terms in the last decade having been gifted a number one pick in Ugle-Hagen via the *smile* academy zones or whatever, then again the following year with Darcy as a father son.

Yet despite all this, the whole does not equal the sum of the parts. Sure they have moments where they get it together (even won a premiership during one of those brief patches) but overall they under perform and consistently so.

From the outside, I’d be looking very hard at their coach who appears to have underachieved.
If the giants had held on that 16 preliminary they probably have a flag and Beveridge would be back at St Bede's.

I'm looking forward to watching blues v dons but the game time seems weird.

Agree - what a crap time 7.15 on a Sunday night. Why don’t the AFL just leave the fixture alone and stop stuffing it up. Here I am getting ready to watch that game and I find out there is a Clayton’s game on soon (lolnorf) and the real game isn’t till much later which means I won’t get to watch it.

There are 3 traditional times that most people watch the footy, Friday and Saturday night and the 3.20 Sunday game - it’s routine, tradition yet the AFL keep getting their grubby little fingers into it. The fans know what works, but the AFL knows best and never listens to the fans.

Is it just me or does there have to be some sort of contrived BS celebration every week these days on Prime Times games.

Just play Football.

The BS does not bring people to the game. The game does. Cut the BS,

Smoke and Mirrors is a poor substitue for the game that is lost.

30 years since the baby Bombers. Big *smile*'n Deal.

So that means its 30 years then since the RFC was probably spiflicated by someone.

Bongers dominating possession and play and no conversion on the scoreboard.

Richmond esque.

PS London to a brick that mark to Wright wouldve been paid against the RFC ..............

Feel dirty going going for Carlton but Essendon are underservedly way too High On the ladder.

Yep blues should be three or four up. We did same thing against bombers - left the door open by burning chances and then shitting the bed late.
