Round 13: the IBS games. Pffffft. (Literally).

Can't work out how McLuggage got knocked out, but as he gets up and walks, Ol Fages decides to break the Dorks' momentum by making McLuggage walk OOB around the ground to get off instead of using the stretcher car.

In the space of 13 rounds there’s been an absolute avalanche of tackle-concussed players the likes of which the game has never seen.

Sicily is the tackler but can't work out how this happened, unless it was a hidden little bump to the head??

What scares these Paddle Pops of this ground? Strange.

They can impress through a season as much as they like, but they'll never win a flag if they're scared of this ground.

The Lions have no other gears. Dunkley racks up disposals, but you barely notice him.

How do the Hawks find Mitch Lewis in the 70s, and we pick guys like Miller, Derickx, Gourdis and Limbach

They did beat The Range Rovers on the same ground in Finals last year, TigerFury.
Although they got poleaxed by Geesook the week after (at the G).

Is it possible that the grounds are too hard? Can't think of any other explanation.

I reckon is the modern way of tackling and pinning arms. You used to tackle the hips/waist . Just my guess.

Some are a result of being coached to not give up the ball - just hold onto it and don’t let it loose or handball blindly - so therefore they can’t create a free arm to protect their fall. They’re taught that when you have little opportunity, are tackled, just don’t give it up, tuck it in with both hands and arms ….and then hope the umpire calls “ball up”. But it means they can’t get an arm out to protect themselves as they go to ground.

Petracca mentioned this in the Merrett-Sparrow aftermath.

Kick it to Chux slaughter on his 200th game at Adelaide Oval. Already has 6 before HT. Wet Coke have to seriously be suspended from the league and give their oppo teams 4 points.

The excuses for WCE went out the door 2 years ago yet here we still are. It’s one thing to get beaten every week - which is bad enough - but they are getting humiliated each week.

There is no way they they are as bad as 10 goal losses every week.

They’re not even trying. They’ve got zero interest.
