Round 1 (2022) - other games

I reckon it's already done. Why else would we have only recruited one genuine mid last draft? Surely!
Balmey was very coy when questioned last year.
Labelled him a Richmond man and of course we are interested.
He would be perfect.

Not from what I can see.plus they are ferocious out there.
Giants midfield will thrash us next week - 10 day break or not. They have 6-7 quality mids, at least 2 rotations and we are sorely lacking.
Many of their mids aren't big goalkickers I think (not sure), could be our only chance if our defenders can hold back the F50 tide.
But we prob didnt expect all of the goals from the blues mids either.

The crowd will be with the Tigers, the umps wont - and we dont learn a thing in that area anyway. Cant see us getting within 30 points.

I hate Geelong more than anymore but you can't call them march premiers. Essendon maybe.
Yep. It’s like a few mates were texting the other day and I said cats supporters had earned the right to be mouthy each year right up to about siren time in the prelim.

Is anyone else playing but Buddy in this game. Commentators are buddy central

Why have we fallen off the cliff but Geelong haven't?
Got to give credit to Geelong for maintaining the rage for so long. However, I think there has been a bit of luck involved. They managed to draft Selwood who is a generational player right at the beginning of their run. They followed it up a year or so later with Hawkins as a father son . That would be like us winning the premiership in 2017 and at the same time drafting Cotchin and Riewoldt. They also got Dangerfield in his prime which has also prolonged their window. Hasn’t won them a premiership though, let alone three. I know what I would take..

I'm gonna watch Sunday's game very closely to see if the Suns are developing any good players for us.
