Yep. Apparently had some off field discipline issues but then we go and recruit Stack. Head scratcher
He had off field issues after he left us. He left us because we had Butler, Castsgna, Higgins, Bolton as small forward at the time. Left for more opportunity.

You have to hand it to Geelong, they haven't won a flag in the last ten years but they are always thereabouts. They always seem to get some good recruits from unlikely places.

And he’s as slow as treacle.
Higgins would thrash him in a leg race.
But he can definitely play.
We were obsessed with speed back then.
 
Thinking about it objectively, the most glaring variable, Hunger?
Possibly. Thinking their older players have held their form better than ours. Hawkins, Selwood and Danger progably going better than Cotchin, Martin and Reiwoldt for example.

A hard, slick and not without flash GWS lead Syd by 2g. We have to lift quite a bit before next week.
 
GWS are going to roll us next week aren't they...do we have the mids to compete?
