Definitely Cameron for the Dogs, and Bickley has firmed for Adelaide, leaving Eade to Melbourne. Melbourne have very little choice at this stage unless they want to go for an untried coach which would be doubtful.

Gary Aryes has thrown his hat into the ring (again!)

Interesting one. Considering what he's done at Port Melb I wouldn't discount him. It will be question of confidence as much as anything else.

I wanted Eade when we got Wallace.  I wonder how different our fortunes might have turned out if that had eventuated.

I'm guessing Eade would've been considered the wrong "cultural fit" at Richmond. Not terrible personable and not much salesman about him.

Would he be the first coach ever at three clubs to have not won a premiership at the previous two?

Actually I can think of Northey..any others?

There's been a few, Malcolm Blight among them if you count his playing coach days at North. Alec Hall coached five clubs (including Melbourne twice, and Richmond) in the early days without a flag.

Reckon Eade has very limited scope, time-wise, as a senior coach in which to win a flag. Perhaps three years, tops. IMO he needs a ready-made list, and the only possible vacancy that fits that criteria is Hawthorn.

Heard from a trustworthy source of mine today that there is more to his sacking than what we all realise.

Word is that the so called men behind the board coupe earlier this year came to an agreement with Smorgan they will back off if the coach goes at the end of the year and one of their men gets the gig as coach next year. If Eade was to be re-apponited then the coupe was back on, Smorgan was to gutless to take them on. Interested to hear if anyone else has heard the same.

My opinion is Smorgon has to go and the above just illustrates why.

Sorry but it never gets old.

Gets a bum rap Ayres. Has done a brilliant job at Port Melb and his AFL record is not as bad as is made out.

If Dimmatina and his cheese squad took over the doggies, they would be one step closer to a liquidation sale!

Sh!t barber though. :hihi
Come on now ToO... you just need to keep in mind that he is sporting a pair of acid wash bubblegummers under that-there table.

According to KB,Eade has had 2nd thoughts about coaching out the season.Expects an announcement sometime today.

Paul Williams to coach out the Dogs season.

I reckon Eade was already headed elsewhere ala Terry - they've just tried to manage the 'fallout'
