Bumped into Robbie this afternoon at the JB HiFi in Glenferrie rd, Malvern. I asked him if he was going and he said "no". He also said he'd just signed a new contract. I don't know if this true. However, he was really positive about the club and said he loved playing for the Tigers. He seemed pretty genuine.

Also met Francis Jackson at a barbecue. Said we were looking to pick-up a Victorian in the mould of Ellis and Conca with pick 9. I took this as a big bodied player, who can kick and is ready to play from round 1. My little ferrets play footy with Craig Cameron young boy and he's always saying they want to recruit big bodied players with early draft picks.

Got Vlastuin written all over it.

Sounds like the type we normally recruit with his leadership etc. But would we be reaching for him at pick 9?

What about O'Rouke? Can anyone fill us in as to when he is likely to go. I know the family is mad keen Richmond.

PORKY Nahas. What about the photo of this bloke in the Herald Sun with his team-mates? Has he been on a MASSIVE carbs diet? He had 4 chins...!

Looked like my ex-wife's Italian mafia dad. Something out of the Sopranos. Hope this is a concerted effort by the Salesian boy to really BEEF up...

Saw that photo. Hope he's got some bulk on the bod to match the chins, trouble is the summer running programs will just trim the greyhounds back to ribs n ....

For those who may have forgotten, Robin finished second behind Jumping Jack this year in the goal kicking. Pretty good effort that. Hope he does as well in 2013.

Good point. Fashionable to lay the boot in sometimes.

However, Robbie is precariously placed considering who rfc have bought in.

Lucky too, cos I reckon he plays much better with cold grey metal against his temple.

And first for goals with the right foot.

How many we're handballs in the goal square? We need a Milne/betts type

And perhaps that is where he was told to be or what to do!

If he kicks goals and fulfills his responsibility then I guess the coach keeps him despite what the crowd says....

Dress him in rags and put some dirt on his face and he'd look like a beggar.

This is completely inappropriate and offensive.

also p!ss funny. I commend you, sir.

l think Robin has improved every year and compares ok to 1 of the best small forwards going around at the moment

I think he is on the edge of being in our best 22. He has been very durable and due to injuries I would expect him to play each week. Besides being a proven goal kicker I like the fact that he can also bring outside run to our midfield which we lack at times.

We should start a list of players who MUST have a big year in 2013. he'd be right up there.
